I have only laptops at home, with no numeric pad.
So It is a pain to use the "+" and "-" keys on the pad (having to activate a function key etc... well, I can't play to say the least).

Is there a way to play without the numeric pad?
Or to customize keys?

It's already possible to customize keys. Hit 'Escape', then select the appropriately named 'Key Bindings' option.

(On a sidenote: I used to experience some problems with that, actually, as the game occasionally forgot the new key bindings. But then I changed a couple of simple things in the ini (window size, turning mouse off), and it's working fine since that. No idea what caused the problem and what solvied it.)

I change the + and - to ] and [ or maybe the other way around, because it somehow makes sense to me. But it takes a while to get used to.
