I'm at it again! I've decided to do this again, because of lack of stuff to do. Unfortunately, I lost the save for the KoH LP, so that wont be going ahead. Anyway, to business:

I'll be writing a story, completely from scratch. You, the community, can write suggestions to guide our hero or heroine. I'll be using ASCIIDraw for some parts of this, to show specifics like distance. For the most part, it will be text. I'll also post links to the start of each "part", or "chapter" if you will.

Part I - The Beginning
You are floating in a featureless white space. A distant voice calls out to you...

"Your name... Your race... and your gender..."

[Jack_Bread]

Orik Na-dalon.
Hadrak Selian.
Male.

[FluffyToast J]

The voice pauses for a second.

"What... is a... Hadrak Selian...?"

(basicly, describe it. I was thinking more generic fantasy races, human, elf, dwarf)

Hadrak Selian.
A Hadrak from Selian.

Also known as a elf-goblin.

(Honestly, it was just the first thing that came to mind. xP)

The voice departs for a moment...

and returns, with your new body.
 "Very well... a 'Hadrak Selian'... Step inside... Orik..."



Somehow, you thrust yourself into your new body... The distant voice speaks to you again.

"Orik... you must go... into the world... again. There is... a great evil... in the world... and it is up to you... to stop it. Go now... Finish what we... have started..."

There is an unusual flying sensation, when the whole world goes black...

...and you awake. Opening your eyes, you see you are in a shady clearing in a pine forest. It seems to be about mid day. You get up, brush yourself off, and take stock.



You are unsurprised to find yourself naked. You look around. The pine directly to the east of you could be easily climbed.

>Gather leaves and stones.

You gather some leaves and stones, but without anywhere to put them, like a back pack or a sack, you lamely hold a handful of leaves in one hand and a rock in the other.

You think you can hear running water very faintly to the north west.

>Go northwest.
>Put leaves on ground and find another rock.

You head northwest for about ten minutes, when you come upon a rushing river. You can see faint shapes moving within the currents. They seem to look back at you, with hunger in their eyes.

You drop the leaves, and pick up another rock. You feel rather foolish standing there with a stone in each hand, but since theres nobody else here, you figure it doesnt matter.

(EDIT: I just had a rather cool idea. Once the new version is out, I can use the arena mode to simulate battles for this. Just thinking out loud...)

You head a bit closer to the river. Suddenly, you hear a splash and you spot what looks like a carp downstream. You swear softly, and retreat away from the bank.

You start tapping your stones together to make an axe...



It takes a few hours, but you eventually have a rather good looking axe-head. Now all you need is a stout branch, and something to tie them together. You spot a likely looking branch a few feet away. You walk over and pick it up.

Looking up, you see that it is becoming night time. This might be a good spot to camp, but the carp make it dangerous. You shrug, put your things down, and go to sleep.

Time...

...passes.

Part II - Setting Up Shop

You wake up. You sit up from your lying position, and take a look around. Your axe-head and branch are still there. You hear a grumbling from your stomach.

It seems to be only a few hours past dawn. The sun is still close to the horizon.

>Dive into river to hunt carp

>Find long, durable, vine and make axe with axe-head and branch.
>Hunt land animals.

You search around the immediate vicinity for a vine, but you cannot find any. You do however find the body of what looks like a human. It is wearing homespun cloth pants and shirt, with leather shoes. There are bite wounds all over the body, and it is slightly damp. It is a few yards away from the stream, with a trail of blood leading from the bank to the corpse.

CORPSE's items:
Homespun cloth shirt
Homespun cloth pants
Leather shoes
Small knife
Small sack
  - 5 Day's worth of dried fruit
  - Building hammer
  - Three copper coins

(If you want a description of anything, just ask. What the trees look like, your own inventory, what currently is affecting your character, whatever.)

[Jervous]

>Eat a bit, then put on the clothing. Skin the corpse with the knife and cut up the meat. Try to get some firewood and light a fire to cook it.
