It usually follows a pattern: 1 scum for 3-6, 2 scum for 7-11/12, 3 scum for 12/13-14. You can generally guess it off the bat.

Depends on the game. I highly suggest that we don't, mostly because it's a potential game-breaker.

Don't mind the folks here.  They are messing around.  The REAL advise will come once the game starts.

To speak of truth though:

- The rules are true (games where they aren't are called Bastard Mods.  This isn't one)

- The cop IS sane.  However, there is a possibility of a Godfather.  No millers or Vigs or any of that other stuff. 

- That will be known.  There's typically 9 players, which makes for 2 scum.

- PMs aren't allowed in this game, except from Mafia to Mafia (who have a place to discuss things anyway) or from player to IC and back.  You can't PM a player to another player. 

All allowed PMs do need to be sent to the host though (which, in this case, will be SirBayer)

- I want to make the game similar to how other typical Bay 12 games run.  Since hosts don't tend to use color, the IC/hosts won't either here. 

One thing tht MAY be interesting to try is to see how Bay 12 feels about hosts using different FONT.  That's less jarring than coloring and the right font will make the host just as noticable.
 
Btw, there's no RULE against it, so if the ICs or SirBayer want to do something special with their posts then they may do so.
