Great, now it's much more informative and neat :).

Ok. I'm going to try to do something to keep myself motivated, and hopefully reward people that show interest. I've decided to write some short stories/chapters to my mod's storyline. I've all ready posted one on the first page (And you don't want to know how long that took me to write).
If there is positive interest. Hell even if there isn't, I'll be telling a story, and with each chapter I'll have prepared, and I'll release a little more of the mod.

I hope you enjoy it, it's the result of reading years and years of cheesy fantasy, with a couple DF jokes thrown in.

Oh, and the question marks are just the start of a list of things that have been released, It'll flesh out. Ugh.. Probably do some more tiles in the morning.

[PAGE_DIM] has to be the entire sheet. Not just the part that has graphics.
So [PAGE_DIM:5:6] is your problem and [PAGE_DIM:7:6] is your answer. ;)

I forgot to put the Weapon_Bot txt document on DFFD, fixed that.

Made some more tiles.


Spent some time merging the Dwarf language with the Bot language file (Trying to keep it alphabetical) hopefully this will show the Bot's parentage, also make it so Bots don't have blank spots for names.

Heh.. Anyone read the story on the front page? If so, I have run it through microsoft word's spell checker and grammar/punctuation and it should be better now.

I also make a kind of timetable on the front page that I sketched at work. it's pretty self explanatory, but, I'll explain anyways. Any time I write another short story/chapter in the mod's lore, I update new content. Whether it be rival Civs, allies, new creatures or megabeasts/semimegabeasts. I'll write more when I get motivated, and it'll be easier to get motivated if anyone reading this leaves a little feedback.

Wow, I am sorry that I've missed the story, I just thought "meh, I'd read it later"...

Well, I've read it and greatly enjoyed it. There were a few sentences I didn't get clearly (possibly because of some grammar errors or something) but the whole thing is just too cool.

How is it going?

I've made a change in my Wasteland mod I am developing. Previously elves were replaced by "junkers", people who lived in the wasteland and believed that the world is sacred as it is, they are supposed to have various landmarks and temples out of garbage and they are supposed to believe there's an "ancestor spirit" living in the landscape, thus people (who crash-landed on the planet, the player faction) who chop the dead trees and collect garbage piles are "hurting" the spirit (so they make tree mandates as elves, although there're garbage piles which work as trees too).

Now I've decided that it would be cool if those people were robots (and "junkers" name is good for them too) which are remnants of a dead spaceship, which were developing on the planet surface by themselves and built themselves into a race (well, immortality makes sense here).

Thus I've started to develop a complex body and add little touches to it as I go. They need to drink (liquids) and eat (biomass) to produce fuel from those components, and they need air (exhaust cannot be removed underwater) thus they are pretty balanced. Also they bleed (think of fuel), but only with one or two internal bodyparts, their body is almost fully made from metal, thus they cannot normally bleed, but if they do, it's usually lethal.

Also I moved on a "simplistic" graphics set, I hope people will like it.

Is that from your Fallout mod? Also, is that adventure mode? I really feel like I should develop a new tileset for the Bot mod, but I don't know where to start.

It's from Wasteland mod. It's in the devs, it is close to fallout but has some fantasy elements, basically about humans who crash-landed on a weird desert planet and have to rebuild their civilization :).

Why won't they fight? When I try to start a game, no "At war" tag with the Dark dwarves. And if I start as the Dwarves, goblins are the only at war I have. What should I do to make them come to war with me? Babysnatcher? Can_Learn Can_Civ? What fits their style more?

Add UTTERANCES like kobolds have so they at least have names.
Also I would suggest to give different id to entity and creatures. Just in case.
