It will be up to Kinesen on what he does with the chainsaw.

As to the oil, yes I expect it's crude, so you could refine it into several things with good enough rolls. Also note that all 6 iron bars and the barrel are in your 'personal' inventory, you can split the iron bars, if that is what you want, and put a couple into the group inventory for others to use. Basically while things are in your personal inventory only you can use them. IE the chainsaw is right now only Kinesen's to do with what he pleases. So you'll have to take it up with him.

Remember however that personal inventory is limited, and the 'pile' of iron bars will expand and take up more space if you split it, same with the old scorpion corpse, and the chainsaw if it gets dismantled.

Don't expect a bonsai tree to grow the miniature planting it.
Trust your calculator. It's something to count on.
Pencils could be made with erasers at both ends, but what would be the point?

possibly, it would be a directed roll. And under Gather. And then you would have to take into account the world your on at the time you try it. some worlds may be more barren than others.

Good...

Okay, I finally made my mind.

Make a Longsword, the blade out of iron, and smelt the lime green stone into the cross guard and rain guard.

Hollow out the block of white stone and shape it into a large pipe. Should be large enough to contain the wood cylinders etc.

Someone should craft a backpack for himself to increase personal storage capacity.

I'm pretty sure we're demigods, have infinite capacity, and have:

Carrying your items on you? What a silly idea! All your inventory is stored in your INFINITUM HYPERSPACE QUANTANIFIJIGGER or some similarly obtuse, confusing bullshit that really doesn't matter except to be occasionally annoying.

Personal inventory has a max of 10 slots. (1 crafted item or 1 stack of raw materials, depending on size.)
Group inventory has no maximum, but will be melted down for fuel at the end of the cycle and returned to an introductory amount.

Backpacks wouldn't quite work here, other than perhaps creating a stack of similar items. Your inventory space is how much you can hold with your powers, it's not like a skill that one could increase as they wish. The limit is there to keep people from hoarding everything the whole cycle. No one is to the limit yet, but if people keep going, eventually they will fill up.

also note that personal inventory will be saved at the end of the cycle with the hibernating creator, so that at a future cycle(cycle 3 for this group) creators can reawaken and continue progress.

Is there any reason to put something in group inventory, other than to save your own inventory space?

To help the group as a whole? Arrangements can be made for gatherers to find stuff, crafters to make things, and then traders sell them. The only issue with this system is the lack of influence the gatherers currently get. Debating if I should give an influence amount for a successful gather.

Influence can be transfered if parties agree, but that's up to them, and probably not likely since people arn't even buying gear yet. So you could in theory buy items from other players.

I personally think that you would get influence for placing items in the group inventory, and pay the same for taking them out. Would make sense, after all, giving something to a god would increase your favour, continuosly requesting things without giving anything back would decrease it.
