Dump the Water back in group storage. Claim sawdust Bowl.

Trade the Sawdust Bowl.

Also, accept Katana and trade it as well.

Gather once more.
attempt: 57+20+2=79
quality: 44
quantity: 100-44=56
Glad for once to have a world that is a little easier to deal with, you wander about keeping your eyes open for anything useful to gather. Finding several of the strange bubbles around, you notice that most contain buildings of various sorts. And when approaching one it only tingles slightly as you pass through unharmed. You approach the low building made from a sort of greyish blue material, and notice that one side is open. Inside, stacks of metalic blue bars lay on pallets of a purple wood. The label reads in amazingly good english: "97% pure platinum". Grinning like a school boy, you make sure no one is looking, and swipe a whole palet of the bars, you guess there is about 50 bars there.

+44 gather influence
+palet of platinum bars(50 units) !Base influence: 44!

With the continuing lack of decent supplies, I'll once again give my creation to group storage and tolerate some side project.

I'll take a unit(up to 5 if that much is required) of that giant mass of mud and muck and manipulate it's molecular structure to form a crystal of the most common elements, and arrange the rest in such a way as to cause veins of impurities on the inside that refracts and colours light passing through in an artistic manner.
attempt: 33+20=53
quality: 48
base influence: 100+48+10(mud, [5/2]x5)=158
Moving the lift-plant thing into group storage, you go about trying to form some crystals. Gathering up some muck and mud, you begin by squeezing the water out of them, and fusing what you can of the material into a solid ball. After that a little micro-atomic allignment and you have a(quite large) rough tourmaline, a mixture of mostly quartz with some pretty greens and reds streaking through it.
+53 crystal allignment exp
+79 crafting influence
+ large rough tourmaline !Base influence: 158!
- 5 units of mud and muck !Base influence: 5!

grab 2 units of Mud

Craft a Ceramic pot
attempt: 19+20=39
Grabbing a couple handfuls of mud you try and assemble some sort of kiln and bake yourself some ceramics. The mud is basically the building blocks for such an action, but for some reason the atoms don't want to go where you wish them.
+39 pottery exp

Rage. Curse my luck. I will try to gather any eggs hidden in the grass.
attempt: 56(specifics would cause failure)
quality: 13
quantity: 80-13=67
With eggs to crack, you head out and begin searching through the grass for any hidden nests or such. You don't find any, however, you do find plenty of grass itself, and decide that a little weeding wouldn't hurt. You pull up quite a few full plants that you bundle together and bring back to the ship.
+28 gather exp(~Levelup!~)
+13 gather influence
+ bundle of red grass(about 15 units) !Base influence: 13!

Dump the Water back in group storage. Claim sawdust Bowl.

Trade the Sawdust Bowl.

Also, accept Katana and trade it as well.
attempt: 29+10(fire lizards)=39
A quick search of the grasses reveals no sign of life, even in the many buildings around in the strange bubbles. After a long day of looking about, you return to the ship disappointed.
+19 trade exp
Note: full inventory, bowl returns to group storage.

Carve images of Hephaestus and The Aegis on the shell.
Stow Hood and Tentacles in group storage.
attempt: 97
quality: 91
base influence: 48+91+75(shell)=214
As you look over your neatly chopped seafood, you place the hood and tentacles into group storage, and regard the spiral shell. Without stopping to think, something in you snaps, and you begin to work. Anyone watching at this time tells you afterwards that 'Your eyes were aglow, like there were candles behind your eyeballs.' Each tiny little part of the shell is engraved, images of the Lord Hephaestus, the ship Aglaia, the divine shield Aegis, miniture depections of the Sintians, Lemnos, and Olympus. Fitting together into a story if read in the right order along the valves of the shell.
+194 bone engraving exp(~Levelup!~)
+214 crafting influence
+ hieroglyphical nautilus shell !Base influence: 214!
- nautilus shell !Base influence: 150!

JACKPOT

Put everything except the bars in group inventory
Split bar stack, keeping 10 (Could you guys ask for permission before using my bars? I'm planning to use all of them)
Make a platinum medal stating "Awesomest Gatherer Award 2010-2011" on one line and "Winner: Cheddarius The Mighty, King of Kings" on the second. Under it will be a to-scale picture of a tiny giraffe, while next to it I stand, gleefully flailing my enormous genitals in evident pride.

thou art too modest, cheddarius.  There isn't even a depiction of yourself displaying a prodigious manhood on your as-of-yet created award.

yeah, I think you have two actions there. You can weave a nest, or hatch the egg, one or the other in a single turn I think. Some things can be combined, but I think this is one where it should probably stay seperate. Lemme know which you choose, if it stays as it is, you'll just get a hatch the egg action. :)

In that case, I'll hatch the egg first

I'll carve the tourmaline into some generic mechanisms.

I am planning to create generic machinery parts, then either let someone else, or myself assemble some/all of them at once, and the bonus would stack up constantly...

I'm going to go ahead and say that they are already adults, and therefore aging them wouldn't do anything but give you a chance to loose them comepletely, along with their bonus. Maybe try something else?

Fair enough, I'll gather for more potential fire lizard food then. (It'll all go into group storage)

This game is far too awesome. Add me to the list as Okanus the Peasant.
