Hmm. Allright.

Weld the laser onto the back of the crab, and neurally connect it. Connect it to the leg batteries, as well. When wiring, it should be as subtle as possible.

Would that bump it up?

Hmm. Allright.

Remove the inset coin.

Would that bump it up?

It would depend on the rolls. Your still altering the same influence based item. You would do better to make another influence based item, and then add that to the crab, so the influence would add up.

Melt down the steel beam and use 3 units of steel to create a greek cuirass.
Put the rest in group inventory.

Depends on what you see as lost influence. when you make something using materials that have a base influence, your base influence on that new item, gets a bonus of half the influence per each base influence used to make the item.

So the formula for base influence looks like this: (quality + base) + (material1 base/2) + (material2 base/2) + (material3... and so on. with only one crafted material, ie: the crab. You get a quality, a base, and half an item's base. If the quality and the base rolls don't add up to more than half the item you created with's base influence, then the new influence of the item will be lower. And this is what has happened to you so far.

Try as you might, you end up basically in the same areas that Matis searched earlier. Nothing in this place but big empty rooms and cold unyielding bulkheads. It seems like there could be great deposits of resources around here someplace, as the rooms have docking stations in the wall for securing clasps, however the current group of searchers are having a hard time.

You have 3-4 hours until I feel like writing to change your action, otherwise I'll just repeat this again and take your last post as an action.

Also sorry about the late change in thread title, forgot about it. but it is indeed, day 2.

Remember inventory.
Abandon entire inventory.
Request Starcloth Gloves [Plasmacrafting].
Claim 1 unit of orange-sun plasma and 9 units of pure copper ore.
Craft Green-Copper plasma.
Abandon Entire inventory.
Claim inventory from start of turn, replacing orange-sun plasma with Green-copper Plasma.
You request some plasmacrafting gear from the ship, and are rewarded with a layer of a plastic like substance that is poured on your hands to protect you from the dangers of manipulating plasma. -250 influence +1 equipment[plasmacrafting]
attempt: 33+20=53
quality: 70
base influence: 58+70=128
Taking up your unit of orange plasma you use it as a base pattern to melt and condense the copper into a similar set of plasma units. After immense pressure and fusion of the plasma into the metal, you spark the mass with your powers and just barely manage to create your green plasma. Some of the copper is condensed and used in the making though, and the end result is only two useable pieces of plasma.
+53 plasmaforging exp
+128 crafting influence
+ 2 units of green plasma !base influence: 128!

Craft. I grab the bright-pink crab eggs and hatch them. The result will be put in my inventory.
Attempt: 58-10=48
You gather up all the crab eggs left in storage, and ponder how to hatch them. A simple hatching by streaming a small amount of your power seems the best way to proceed, but when you try, you skills only manage to make a few of the eggs boil and pop like messy eggs in a microwave. You stop before you damage the mass of eggs further.
+48 Enhanced Incubation exp

Buy a piece of Bioenhancement equipment and try once more to Craft by speeding up the bat-like bird's growth to adulthood.
You ask the ship for some Bioenhancement gear, it produces a set of pills that you give to the creatures to strengthen them before enhancement. -250 influence + 1 equipment [bioenhancement]
attempt: 88+1=89
quality: 56
base influence: 78+56+49=183
After giving one of the stabilizing pills to the bird, you hold it in your palms and concentrate. Adjusting the time around the bird just enough and useing your powers to shift the strength of the bird's body to increase size you manage to make the tiny creature grow. And grow quite a bit, the final result is something the size of a large eagle with leathery wings and oddly enough a very fine layer of blue fur.
+89 bio enhancement exp
+183 crafting influence
- red and white marbled leathery bat-like bird !base influence:98!
+ large red and white marbled leathery bat-like bird with blue fur !base influence:183!

Melt down the steel beam and use 3 units of steel to create a greek cuirass.
Put the rest in group inventory.

attempt: 76+20=96
quality: 01 :o
base influence: 74+1=75
You take the I-beam and quickly melt it down into suitible bar shaped units. Putting five of them into storage, you flatten and beat out the remaning three, with a cuirass made stronger and better than any greek armorer's product. The resuting steel chest piece is light weight, but seems to lack a bit of quality that an original or antique might have.
+192 armorer exp(~Levelup!~)
+150 crafting influence
+ steel cuirass !base influence:75!

I think you get the award for the most skills this cycle. XD you also have a crazy amount of crafting influence

Weld the laser onto the back of the crab, and neurally connect it. Connect it to the leg batteries, as well. When wiring, it should be as subtle as possible.
attempt: 48+20+2=70
quality: 38
base influence: 8+38+75(laser)+62(crab)=183
Taking your laser and your crab, you once more fall into mad scientist mode to tweak your robo crab creation. Fusing the tube weapon to the metal shell of the crab, you connect the item to the primitive nerve system of the crab, allowing the power from the batteries fuel the laser for extra bursts of damage.
+70 cybernetics exp
+183 crafting influence
- tiny green laser tube !base influence: 151!
- Steel electro crab with inset, engraved-gold coin (alive)  !base influence: 124!
+ Steel plated, electric powered, laser crab with engraved coin (alive) !base influence: 183!

You two crafters sure do have a ton of influence stockpiling up.

Oh screw it, use a piece of the I Beam and craft a Ninja To.
attempt: 24
Taking a bar of steel from the group storage you prepare yourself to make a ninja weapon. However, without a suitable mask, and shadows to hide in, you can't really get yourself to feel like a ninja. Therefore you ponder getting these items, and before you know it the time has flown by, and you end up not making anything.
+24 weapon forging exp
