I, myself, only during books and films.
Braveheart got me to lose a tear a few times, but it's just your standard idealized hero death. Certain movies, like Let the Right One in, get me to cry, and I don't even know for what reason, must be some kind of beauty or so.
So, there are beautiful cries, but there is also the exact opposite. The Black Magician series as an example or His Dark Materials, which cut your heart out with a rusty knife, chew on it, put it through the meat grinder, and sew it back in with 10 gauge wire. Utter excruciating pain. Sometimes, it really makes me depressive for a few days.

So, what about your crying behaviour?

Manly, manly tears during Band of Brothers, slightly moist reading The Sorrows of Werther, shed one tear at an amazing concert, and a few tears when a good friend took her life. that's all I can think of in recent memory.

Like "A Beatiful Mind" or "The Green Mile".

There are times that make me cry.
Not once and not twice was my pillow soaked in tears.
But it's better that way, cause I feel a lot better afterwards.

The manliest kind of tears.

Sad movies and the like usually get me pretty down but I don't cry at them. In fact it has been a fair while since I have, but I never though I delt with emotion the way you should (mostly with humor).

I don't know actually, I havn't been sad enought to cry as long as I can remember. I rarely react to things with sadness, I tend to become angry, anoyed, frustrated, confused, or panicked instead.
I've been to much on TVtropes for movies to move me to tears.

I'll let loose a tear when I see something truly beautiful. Not sure why, just happens. Other than that, if I experience a loss or a truly sad film.

After experiencing enough bullcrap and bullying in the past, and increasing my cynicism to ridiculous (and often cold) levels from other experiences; I only cry if I'm hit with a sufficient enough amount of pain inside or outside (any real loss, God forbid; or breaking a limb or something). Only then, crying would prevent me from passing out.

Other cases would be necessary, of course. Acidic air (onions), dry room, something stuck in the eye, choking or laughing incredibly hard. Not as a bullcrap reason to hide crying of any sort either.

No point in forcing tears; unless I have some seriously bad insomnia, and nothing else can knock me out.

When I'm really pissed, I'll cry, which is unhelpful. They're tears of undiluted RAEG though, which I don't think is healthy.

Same here. When I do cry, it is at the loss of a very close person, or if I need to remove pure, distilled rage from my body. It makes for quite a sight to see someone crying as they turn someones face into a bleeding, multi-colored lump.

I cry very rarely, because I try and remain rational at all times. When I do cry, I feel much better afterwards and indeed sometimes during, so I have this wierd half looking forward to it, half not attitude.
