Damn stabbing weapons... always get stuck in the victim. I don't suppose you can outfit your companions at all?

Not that I know of ... If anybody knows how, I'd love to hear it, but I'm pretty sure it's up to them if they want to grab something and use it as a weapon.

Ohh here is another

Tip 2:

Bolts and Arrows do a TON of damage and the game doesn't recognise what launches.

What this means is that Bolts and Arrows are one of the most deadly thrown weapons in the game! (Next to Trap components)

So by all means pick up stacks of arrows or bolts and use them as throwing weapons.

Also the Title your 4th character earned is very appropriate.

Could anyone tell if Dasqoot still had that spear stuck in her head? I'm guessing pulling it out would have led to really bad bleeding and death. Man, all my character's in Valcon's LPs get the coolest mortal wounds and live through them.

Also, would you prefer to be Cooz or Cootue in the LP?  If you're character is female, Cooz would be pretty epic =)

Thanks Neonivek and yeah, in some of the later ones, I picked up and am wearing some full quivers of bolts and arrows as I prefer them to any other throwing weapon (except maybe elf skulls).

Dasqoot, no, you pulled the spear out of your head, yet, somehow didn't lose any eyes or sustain brain damage ... She has been acting a bit strange recently ... Phineas Gage anyone?

If (when) Alehkhs dies, you should look in Legends and figure out if she has any living (possibly similarly named...  ) kin and try to recruit them in her place...

preferably a male with a blunt weapon this time...

For now, let's leave my Dwarf Speardwarf nickname as it is. But if he'll have chance to die (which sooner or later sooner will surely happen) his female reincarnation can be called cooz

Great work Dasqoot, how'd you get hold of the map though?

Also, Valcon, two things:

• If you really wanted to check Legends without your character dying, you can just create a copy of the entire DF folder, and retire in one of the two copies...
• Also, if Noloc does happen to die, be sure to wait [press '.'] and see what happens to the members of the party that survive you, and again in Legends. You might actually be able to have them join another adventurer, as I beleive they will travel back to their homes if when you die.

In legends mode, click on sites or civs and then press "d" to export a detailed map. All the town info was just from reading the history of the major civs and writing down when each town was founded and stepping through historical maps year by year.

edit: oh you italicized "you". I bugged valcon for a copy of the region files hehe.
