Just about the longest and most epic fight I've ever seen against a megabeast.

How you didn't get injured is beyond me, considering you don't even have any pants on and only a leather hat.

Also: you should maybe think about epic questing to go grab a steel hammer from some dwarves. That'll take care of all that deflection you are getting with the sissy morningstar. Although, for just no-name mace skill, you are freaking flinging things back pretty far. I'm fully expecting Headshoots-level punting skills when you're superhumanly strong.

Just stumbled upon these - four videos in, and I gotta say, thanks a bunch. I've been too intimidated by Adventure Mode's different interface to mess around with it before. I'm thinking now that I'll give it a try later.

Incidentally, the videos are definitely entertaining. Way to make watching someone else play DF interesting - never would've guessed.

I must admit, watching all of these has inspired me to start playing adventure mode too. You've just made it seem so much more interesting.

He's got two shields in his hand, thanks to a particular glitch that allows you to place extra items in your hands by (r)emoving them from your backpack. With those two shields, he's pretty much invulnerable unless he gets attacked from behind (i.e. if he gets surrounded).

Any chance on you making a playlist with the videos in order? Just suggesting it since I'm hoping I'm not the only one who keeps videos streaming in another window while playing (and normally it's Let's Plays).

If anything at all were to come of this LP, my greatest hope would have been to inspire others to give it a go!  So, AWESOME, I'm really glad to see more adventurers are setting out on their own epic journeys of glorious death.

And yes, I do the exact same thing when I watch other Let's Plays.  Really freaks people out when I'm playing a game on one screen and watching someone else play another game on the other =)  I pretend I'm a ventriloquist and have mad multitasking skills!

When your strangling something to death... You only need to select strangle once. After that you can just select attack
