How'd you get more than 12 companions?

You have to have a good rep by killing semi megabeasts, and a LOT of patience.

That was epic!

I hope your adventurer managed to get away with all his bones intact at least haha!

at least you won :P

I didn't win, the survivor ran away and survived until I "Finished" adventure mode.

How'd you get more than 12 companions?

I made a bunch of retired adventurers.

Ah, so retired adventurers aren't restricted in number. I never knew that! Thanks.

Couldn't you have pushed him into the chasm?

I thought that, but since colossi have the stout tag, they dont usually dodge a charge but stand still and you end up knocking yourself down with a failed charge.

My adventurer got thrown into a tree and totally beat to death. Sad times.

Because the image fits so well:

Thief:"Quiet kitty, Qui-"
Cat:"THIEF! Protect the hoard from the skulking filth!"
The resulting party killed 20 dwarves, crippled 2 more and the remaining 9 managed to get along and have a nice party.

That wasn't an option. Imagine this:

The adventurers were pushed back towards the edge, so the bronze colossus was forcing THEM off the edge. And its hard to push a huge mountain of metal backwards!

Also, that colossus picture was ace, forgot about that game!

Whoops, seems I forgot to mark the chasm. Looking at it again I thought it was a road. %P

:D It was unclear but the descriptions were epic! Im thinking of trying another assault when i get back to my university computer.

Hopefully a few legendaries and accomdating terrain can do the trick!

I'll try this on my adventurer on AoH. It's my first adventurer ever! I plan to gain a few companions killing giants then go to a goblin tower where i can exceed the limit with prisoners.

EDIT:The first adventurer died by lucky shot from a wolf. Making second adventurer. Might try the retire trick.

Are we allowed to get adamantine armor from a retired fortress?

attempt 1 : got into cave , bronze colosi decides to smash me into a plup around a corner ,  got turned into mush to a wall

attempt 2 : got in there again , sneaking , same fate , smashed into a rat , and smashed into a wall

attempt 3 : again , 20 prisoners this time , prisoners get turned into mush , try to punch bronze colosi , failure

attempt 4 : got angry , decided to activate my epic 100 shield , armor , weasling(too lazy to spell right) and 105 hammer skill , face to face with bronze colosi , combat log(i don't know how to get a screen shot of the combat log):

you swing the <steel war hammer> at the bronze colossus!
the shot glances away
the bronze colossus smashes you in the left arm!
the shot glances away
you bash the bronze colossus in the head!
It is smashed into the body , an unrecognizable mess!
bronze colossus has been struck down

thats pretty much all , its quite easy with a steel hammer , so is there any way to make it rediculiously powerful?
