You are a Lt. in the company Orion. A race for the alpha-centauri system has resulted from this new engine, and your company has bought 2,000 drives from the government. Equating to 500 billion credits. Your ship has been fit with one and i set to leave for Alpha Centauri in a month. By now they have invented stasis modules to freeze aging and people and make it feel like sleeping, and pass as fast as sleeping. The year is 2210, Jan. 7th. You are at Ogli Spaceport, Farsoom City, Winston Region, Mars. As the need for radiation resistent steel increases they have added a dura- to steel, to differentiate it from radiation resistant and non-radiation resistant. You are the captain of the SS Drake

People input what they want the character to do, and i somehow combine them all.

You have just reached Ogli spaceport, your engineers are refueling with Nex Minutor, and you've been given 10,000 personell credits. The company will pay for the huge things, other then that your currently standing at a dusty bar.

A old man is sweeping dust off of the bar counter, and a few people sit there silently mulling over their drinks. 2 men are in the corner playing poker. Tankers roll silently outside.

Rebels:No, not currently.
Rival Companies:If you encounter one in the new frontier, where there is no police they will most likely attack you.

What weapon systems does the SS Drake have? Crew capacity? Cargo capacity?

We should probably build a scientific outpost on Alpha Centauri, bringing enough weapons to arm the colonists. Maybe hire somebody with the skills to train a militia.

Do not fire at anything unless we are defending ourselves while in the Solar System.

I'm not really sure why we are in a tavern. Listen for rumors.

One more question I thought of, hopefully the last for now: What is stored in our ship? We'll probably want to bring ammo, spare parts for repairs, and then whatever we'll need for a scientific outpost (Or whatever we're building), along with food and water for the colonists. Perhaps we should also bring equipment for scanning and mining asteroids.

Yea that, but the corporates plan to pay off the whole hyper-drive cost by mining Nex Minutor and Argon from the different asteroids. Anyway, going to put a poll up...

-I think we'll probably want around 20 missiles, with 50 missiles for the colonists.
-Spare parts, for repairing our ship
-Misc pre-fabricated structures designed to be self-contained, interlocking, and able to work in a vacuum. Solar panels on the roofs. We'll probably want a bay for supporting small robots, sleeping quarters, a communications array (with scanners. They can analyze the system while we're doing random stuff.), a water reclamation system, air reclamation system, hydroponic farms, a lab, a missile launcher, and a recreation room.
-Various small robots for the scientific colony. They should be modular to be easier to repair, I think. They'll be needed for repairs, basic experiments, and possibly light mining operations.
-Basic mining equipment for the SS Drake.
-20 basic guns for the colonists, along with ammo.
-20 pressurized suits for the colonists.

I say that when we get there, we should drop off the colony on the nearest stable moon (Or habitable planet if we're lucky). While they set up, we fill our holds with minerals. If they have no problems before we leave, we head back to the Solar System.

What kind of weapons are available?

You buy the items, and modify the ship.
The ship can now support 50 crew members.
there are 5 gunner ports.
You manage to find 10 MOABs selling for 5,000 credits per. You buy them all, and modify the ship to have a bomb bay and stock them inside it.
