Turn 4!
Pulling out my mace and shield, begin smashing guards heads in, preferably assisting peasants along the way.
[4+1] You swing with your mace, bashing a two guards in the upper bodies. [5][1] One was lucky enough to survive with a bruise, but the other's chest collapses on him. He falls to the ground quickly dying of blood loss and suffocation.
Scan the crowd for any sign of a peasant leader.
[1] There are no leaders to be found in the crowd. Sadly, the closest thing the peasants have to a leader is the mayor, and he's far too fat to leave his home.
Keep taming it! BOND IT!
[4] By some miraculous sin against nature, you stop the rat from attacking you, and even get it to warm up to you a bit. It vomits upsome bits of flesh in an attempt to return your face. D'awww...
Treat the wounded. If the opportunity arrives, dramatically cry out to the sky about the senselessness of war or somesuch while holding a dying child in my hands.
[3] You go around a bit, and manage to patch up some scrapes here and there. [2] Unfortunately, it seems that the guards have something akin to morals, and have not harmed any children. You think you see one petting a kitten behind the tavern.
Start helping whatever side is winning.
[1] Hmm. Since it's still a stalemate, pretty much, you leap in and join the peasants, feeling their stupid motivations make more sense. [6+1] You get a remarkably lucky hit as it strikes a guard in the eye. [2+1] He falls to his knees crying in agony, but doesn't seem to die.
Your guard joins the fray as well, striking against his old college buddy Antoine. [1] Sadly, he forgot that Antoine was a member of the Bloodbowl team, while he was a cheerleader. The attack fails quite miserably.
Use my greek fire to assist the peasants, throw it at the housing of the nobles.
[6] By some Channukah -esque miracle, your little bit of Greek fire manages to burn down half a district of noble housing. While you doubt many were killed, it certainly rallied the peasants a good bit.
NPCs:
Peasants(54) vs. Guards(39)
[6+1(Inspired)] vs. [3+1(Equipment]
Inspired by the help from nowhere, the peasants make a renewed effort. [1+6+2] They strike down 9 guards in their fury, leaving only 30 to continue the fight.
Kill guard
Antoine opens with a heavy swing of his sword, [3] which your guard barely manages to deflect with his own blade.
Kill!
[6] The surviving guard takes his foe's moment of weakness to get in a counter-strike. [3] The blow strikes his chest, breaking a few ribs. (Broken ribs! -1 stamina)
