Ew... reminds me of an Oblivion joke that my friends used to make, saying that Bosmer would procreate by covering themselves in sap and lying in a writhing heap until all the women were pregnant. Just that, with... mucus and pus. And vomit, which indicates all their rites are served outside. Yuck...

I've got a goddess named Ngotol Fatalburial, associated with suicide, and a god named Momuz Ghostsuck the Fatal Stenches, of disease and deformity. Any way I can find out about their worshippers without just chancing upon it in Civilizations and Other Entities?

Not always. "When all else fails, try rain" doesn't quite work as well. Though I'm sure someone can make a case for dealing with heathens by cistern-fed drowning pools...

Tunur Flagdented The Disemboweled Thrower of Hegemons is associated with persuasion, speech, chaos, war and fortresses. In a previous fort I got Kat Thunderedattacks The Disemboweled Master or some such, so I must be getting some pretty creepy dwarves on embark.

I recently encountered a human civ that worshipped gods that were secretly dwarves. They worshipped caverns, mountains, volcanoes, etc. Their lives were spared.
Other than that not much, unfortunately.
