Grayditch is filled with ANTS that breath FIRE.
Simple.

Sir, someone got an a zed out of malton. They said they were gonna drop it near a place called the Lost Hills in California.
There goes california.

Has anyone got some reports from Point Lookout? I sent a platoon there to check it out. Never came back.

Oh, were those yours? Nice fellows, those boys. Asked for directions, so I pointed them in the direction of a nice little stash. Now that I think about it, I never did hear back from them...

*bang*

Oh shoot; looks like the bat got in... I'll be right back.

Nah, it can't be them.
They got a map before they went in.
And they had Jeeps and boats.

I'm not sure what happened to the Tribal guy, but as for Point Lookout? I've never been there, but from what I hear it's a hellhole.

Radioactive inbreds, fucked-in-the-head tribals, all kinds of nasty stuff.

Hey, Brotherhood of Steel Guy, how is that Liberty Prime robot?
It's gonna blow up from an Enclave nuke sooner or later.

Hey, this is the team you sent to Point Lookout, heading home. We rescued the Scientists and wounded soldiers. They were with a missionary for gods sake. That was so easy. Well except for the Tribals trying to kill us, a Crazy Guy, and insane swampfolk.

The Enclave isn't stupid enough to keep using nukes! The Wasteland is already irradiated enough, and they'll crack through the planets crust if they keep nuking around DC!

Sorry for the late one. I see you all enjoyed yourselves with a bit of chatting XD

Urist's Journal, Day 4 of Operation: Evac, Power Substation

Well, from all these transmissions I've been getting suggesting me to talk to Tenpenny, I decided I would. When I walked up to his suite, the guard said I couldn't just go talk to Tenpenny, and that he didn't want to see the likes of me. He immediately got up from his chair and left me alone at the door. I looked onto the table nearby and saw the key.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I grabbed it and unlocked Tenpenny's suite, then walked in to find him in his bedroom. He said he was glad to see me, and that the guards never let anyone in. He talked to me about a lot of things, eventually bringing up the ghouls trying to get into his tower. He didn't want the zombies ruining the experience for everyone, so he made a deal with me. He'd give me a suite at the tower, if I exterminated the ghouls. I accepted, and my team stayed in the suite while I went with Sergeant RL-3 to find the ghouls.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

They were at Warrington Station.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The place was filled with good loot, but also filled with Ferals. They were everywhere! Sergeant and I had no problem taking them out though. We found a few weird ones we've never seen before...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

There was a huge green one that walked really slowly but I couldn't get a good picture of it. Anyway, we continued down to the ghoul's hideout and found the leader of their group. He told me that the snobs at Tenpenny were selfish bigots that wouldn't let anyone live with them. They had their chance, and he was going to attack them soon enough. I couldn't convince him to leave Tenpenny alone, so I returned to the tower. I slept in my bed for a while and left the tower for a while to explore a bit. When I returned, the place was in chaos!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The horde of ghouls attacked and killed nearly everyone! Me and the Sergeant managed to take out the zombies, but all of the inhabitants we found were dead...I found the ghoul's leader nearby and beheaded the bastard.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I looked around for survivors in the residential suites. I only found one living person, someone one of the transmissions I got mentioned.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

He told me he managed to fight off the ghouls. He was sad that it had to come to this. He said that ghouls usually don't act like this and aren't this...evil. I also found a radio in his room. I sent out a few messages:

"Who are you and where are you?"

"How are you tracing me?"

"To all of you that are sending me messages, why me?"

After I got my answers, I left the room in search of my companions. I used the elevator to get to the suites, and found myself face-to-face with a Glowing One!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The door to my suite was barricaded, and I saw tons of ghouls trying to break in. Instead of killing them all, I left them alone and went into Tenpenny's suite.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Tenpenny was dead, but that didn't stop me from running back to my suite and saving my companions. Hodgins was already dead when I got there, but the rest of them were okay. We fought our way back down to the first floor and looted what we could from the stores.

I left Tenpenny Tower behind me, and left to find somewhere else to use as shelter to get away from the Enclave searching for me. Hopefully, I'll find that place soon.

Well, back on the trial with Alyx, Sergeant and Zane. We left in a random direction, hoping to find something we hadn't seen before. We found a small store, which we looted. Not much, but I think it may have been a gun shop.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

On the side of the road in a pool of radiation, there was a man with a large coat on. I went to chat with him when he started blathering nonsense, about the wastelander being reborn and being alive. When I tried to press him further, he fell down dead. I searched him to find a map to a place called Oasis. It was on the other side of the state, though.

We found a Power Substation and decided it was a suitable place to rest. I fiddled around with the power outside and got the lights working. When I went inside, I saw everyone staring at the wall. When I turned, I saw something gruesome.

(look away!)
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Suddenly, Alyx shouted, "RAIDERS!" we all rushed outside to find the substation surrounded by four raiders. It was a fierced battle, we had equal numbers, but in the end we all survived and the raiders lie dead before us. Sergeant needed a few repairs, Alyx had a lot of cuts and a new scar, and Zane was bleeding heavily. After we bandaged up our wounds with help from RL-3's medical supplies we rested and fell soundly asleep inside the Station.

I won't be able to contact you right now...

Oh, good to see you made it... Shame about Tenpenny, though; we had some good times together.

*mmph*

Quiet, Batsy! I'm trying to have a conversation here!

Anyways, I heard our good friend at Malton suggest you head to Rivet City. That's all well and good, excluding the fact that standing between you and it are about a thousand super mutants, and the Brotherhood of Steel! Defector or otherwise, they don't take kindly to Enclave, so I suggest you find somewhere else to hide. Why not Megaton? Friendly folk, plenty of supplies, and if you get bored of it they've been kind enough to set up a bomb for you to detonate, smack dab in the middle of Town Square!

If you'll excuse me, I have to teach my guest why it's rude to interrupt someone's conversation. Hehehehehehe...

Super Mutants have never travelled near Rivet City.
Just swim over the Potomac.

Hey, wasn't that one of my Platoon soldiers?

Urist's Journal, Day 5 of Operation: Evac, Megaton.

Nothing much has happened since we left Tenpenny. Sure, we've run into a few mole rat hordes, stampedes of Night Ghouls and many other dangerous things, but we hadn't had much trouble dispatching them. The wasteland is very desolate, and hard to navigate. Recently we came across the railroad tracks we had past yesterday. The only things we have found are destroyed towns with nothing of value. We did find a few things though.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Here is a small market district I think. There's a grocer and a bank there. Inside the bank we ran into a couple of raiders, but nothing we can't handle.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Along the road we found a boxcart that was filled with toxic waste. Brahmin were drinking it glumly and paid no attention to us.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Here's an old barn we found. This barn is notable because it is where we found Jane Carr. She was being chased by a huge Radscorpion. Using teamwork, we finally managed to take the beast down. Jane told us that she was going to live at this barn after her village was attacked by raiders. She was bringing a fridge filled with purified water back to it when she was attacked by the radscorpion. Since she had nowhere else to go, Jane came with us. I took the water and I extracted the final ingredient for my Dartgun: a radscorpion poison gland!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Jane guided us towards Megaton. We found the bridge we were supposed to cross but unfortunately, it was controlled by raiders. We charged and infact won without any casualties or any major injuries!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Here's where we came to the landmark in our travel to Megaton. Jane says it's Springvale, a small moutainside town. The school was occupied by raiders, but we took care of that. Continuing down the trail, we found it!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The gates opened and we were let inside. The sheriff greeted us, and with my knowledge of how to act around authority, I greeted him politely and he welcomed us with open arms. Immediately, we went to The Craterside Supply. The woman there asked us if we knew that a vault dweller recently escaped the vault near Springvale. A stray from the vault? I don't understand why anyone would want to leave such a sanctuary!

Moira let us use her workbench. I repaired some junk and built my dart gun!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Each of the darts is covered in poison. This will come in handy! I also bought us some new armor and clothing. Our old stuff is pretty worn out and damaged. Outside, we posed for a group picture! When we were taking the picture, I thought of making our own mercenary group. I think it would be a good idea, anyway.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Well that's pretty much everything I have to say for today. It's good to have a safe place to rest in again.
