Awesome music! Anyone know how to compress pictures? Took me a while to upload these to photobucket.

-Urist's Journal, Day 1 of Operation Evac, Satcom Array

After that strange call from another Enclave Member I didn't know exactly what to do. Follow his commands, or go on my own route? I don't know...I certainly would need help here but I don't know if he's actually with the Enclave or he's a rebel like me. I finally decided after a few moments of thought. I would go to the Radar Array, then go to the south-east. If this guy is actually my friend, this'll be a lot easier for me.

It wasn't a few steps I had taken before I was beset by a horde of Mole Rats. They had already eaten two slavers and they were after me! I pulled out my plasma rifle with extreme speed and shot them down one by one. It was all slow motion for me...I was too fast for them. I had already fired twenty shots before all of them lay dead before me, without a scratch on me. I skinned and cut them into meat. I went over to the corpses of the slavers and found an Uzi and a machine gun. They came with enough ammo. I had the radar array in my sights, but I couldn't go too far. Mirelurk Stream was ahead, and it was filled with Hunters and Drones. I also noted a raider platform. I could've wasted my ammo on them, but I decided not to. I went around the stream, coming to a small Power Station..I think.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

In the place there was a wastelander corpse surrounded by dead dogs. I took the liberty of skinning and cutting some meat chunks out of them.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

On a small counter I found, there were some schematics for some kind of Dart Gun. I also found two nuka colas, one I guzzled and the other I put in my backpack. I also searched his toolbox for some scrap metal and a wrench, which I used to repair my new guns. My plasma rifle is in poor condition, but I'll need Fission Batteries or something like them to repair it.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I walked down the mountainside. I had only one option here: sneak past the mole rat horde and the mirelurks. I did just that. The Mole Rats must've sniffed me out though- they were already charging after me. I ran and manuvered around the rocks in the stream, before jumping on a hill and escaping them. I would've went straight for the Array if it weren't for that goddamned raider platform. I tried to go through the canyon, but I found something scarier than raiders...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I decided to climb up the mountainside. It was the best decision. I heard gunshots, so I ran around the Array. I found tons of animal corpses (which I cut up for meat) and a dead Slaver.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Where are these guys coming from anyway? I grabbed her gun along with some new clothing. I entered the Array to see...people! They starting shouting and running at me. I heard more gunshots and sure enough, slavers were gunning them down. I ended up shooting a ghoul scientist, which I thoroughly searched to find a holodisk and some coordinates. Walking up the stairs I found two men in black armor, along with one female slaver.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

She joined up with me so we could check out how the other slavers were doing. Not so well.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Her whole team was dead, she didn't know what to do. I asked her to join me, and she accepted. We climbed to the top of the Array and found a computer that could decrypt our coordinates. The coordinates showed me to two other Arrays, and I downloaded them to my map.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I inserted the holodisk and activated the test run that was on the computer. Nothing happened. I went ontop of the Satellite with the slaver to find the last surviving black armored man in the Array. He had a huge flamer outfitted with a special chemical to make his flames bigger- and more dangerous. I pulled out my machine gun and fired on him wildly, he got closer and closer and soon flames spread around me!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Suddenly, an explosion shook the grounds and the Array. The man lost his balance and swerved. I tumbled and rolled towards him, kicking out his feet and pulling out my Uzi. I put it on automatic, and fired on him, letting his brains fly out...and that's how I met the Talon Company.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I spreaded out my load of new stuff I got from my trip on my bed and took a picture. I stuffed it into my footlocker, and me and the slaver rested in the two cots.

Nice job Trooper. Just to say, I'm not enclave. Talon Company Mercs. Man they will kill ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE. The explosions were the cause of an Orbital Strike codenamed Highwater Trousers. Unfortunately you can't target anything. Be careful with slavers, they tend to enslave any poor wastelander they see. Oh, and, uh, make sure that slaver survives and makes it to Paradise Falls, or just survive with you. She's, um, one of my allies younger sister.

Try not to meet any Enclave, Talon Company, Or Regulators in the wasteland OK? I got some reports of Brotherhood Outcasts nearby too. Look around. They could be useful.

Urist's Journal, Day 2 of Operation: Evac, Car Fort

After having a nice rest in the Array, me and the slaver left to go to the other Arrays, for more loot. Plus, I wanted to destroy the Raider Platform I encountered on my way here. Right when we left in the direction of it, I found someone I never wanted to see again. An enclave trooper. He was bleeding and his armor was damaged, but he was after me. I had to kill him. I pulled out my sniper rifle and shot my last shot directly at his head. It clanked against the helmet and he turned, pulling out an ion pistol and firing at us. I copped a shot or two, but I managed to kill him with the help of my friend.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

We later arrived at the platform to find two dead raiders and an injured BoS Outcast. I talked to him and he told me his story. He was exploring the Arrays to find orbital strike equipment. He and his companion were travelling to the Array when they were ambushed and seperated. He happened upon an enclave trooper firing on the raiders, eventually killing them and turning his fire on the Outcast. They managed to exchange quite a bit of damage before the trooper escaped. I told him that I had already fired the payload and he agreed that it was for the best, orbital strikes cause more damage than they fix.

I nursed the man back to health, and he asked if he could join me. I didn't really know where I was going, but I didn't tell him that. I let him join us, much to the annoyance of the slaver. I guess they don't really like eachother.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

We were walking along when we found this massacre. Two raiders lie dead next to an Outcast wearing combat armor. It was the man's companion. I took his armor and gave it to the slaver, plus I grabbed any ammo I could scavenge. Then I buried him.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

After a bit of walking, we found the next Array. There was another horde of molerats- I was getting tired of those things. Two slavers fought off against them. Deciding it was for the best, I led my team into the battle and assisted them. After killing the entire horde, I chopped up some meat and fed it to the slavers. They were heavily injured, so I gave them a few stimpacks. They told me they were trying to take over the Array as a headquarters, broadcasting signals to Paradise Falls. I didn't have the heart to tell them they weren't exactly for that.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

We climbed up the Array to find no enemies to be exterminated. When I looked over the railing I nearly bawled. Another Enclave Trooper scouted the area. My friends immediately began firing on him. He lunged for the door and climbed up onto the level we were on. The Outcast managed to dispatch him with his Flamer.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The two slavers returned to their camp and brought two other slaves along with them to set up the base. One of them decided to join us, while the others stayed at the Array.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Nearby, there was a scavenger hideout. I grabbed the enclave trooper's armor and offered it to him. He gave me some ammo and a stimpack, and when I asked him if it was enough to repair all of my stuff, he laughed and said: "That'd be 8000 caps, please!" That made my blood boil. I pulled out the ion pistol I looted from the trooper and held it against his head. He pleaded for his life, and I asked him to give me the Missile Launcher and to repair everything I had. He obliged.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

We were back on the road again. I decided that we should leave the Arrays alone and look for that fort that guy on the transmission told me about. Of course, what's travelling without a horde of hungry dogs after you?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

After a long travel we found the fort. At least I think so. It was a large fort made entirely of cars, and inside were two bed and at least five ammo boxes! Since the whole party was tired, I told everyone we'd rest here. A slaver told me that it's too dangerous around here, and she had a bad feeling about it. I explored around the fort, before finding some Super Mutants!!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

After killing that guy in the picture, I grabbed his hunting rifle and started firing at the other two under a bridge. They had a strange monster with them. I call it a floater.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Here's some pictures of some new weapons:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

When we got back the Outcast fell onto the bed and immediately fell asleep. Since I was still a bit awake, I asked the slavers their names. The one back at the first Array's name was Alyx, and the other's was something... I wasn't listening, I fell asleep.

Oo-hoo-hoo, what's this? Is the little boy away from home? How sad! But now, you're probably wondering who I am, aren't you? Maybe I got hit when the bombs dropped, and was cursed with immortality! Maybe I'm an Enclave soldier trying to trick you to come back to Daddy Eden. Oh, or maybe I'm MAGIC! I'm a little fairy dancing around in your ear, shouting at you to listen to what I have to say! Now, listen, punk; and listen good: There's a tower in the south. Real nice place; an old friend of mine lives there, calls himself Tenpenny. You can't miss it, it's the biggest building in the Wasteland! Real friendly folk there, just hope you're not a ghoul! They've got food and shelter and maybe some clothes to change into (Lord knows you could use some fresh ones, I can smell you from here!) so see if you can get down there soon. Maybe I'll see you there...

If you can't tell who that was supposed to be, just read it in a Mark Hamill voice and you should have a pretty good idea of who I'm imitating.

But yeah, go to Tenpenny Tower when you can.

Holy shit, a browning. Man I haven't seen those since the WW2 Simulations. I suggest you to find a place some other place to stay, Tenpenny tower is filled with snobs and Ghoul Haters. Except for Herbert Dashwood, he's pretty nice. Nearby the tower is a metro filled with ghouls. And I assume you haven't seen that alien crash site or Point Lookout yet, haven't you trooper? I suggest STEER CLEAR. Point Lookout is filled with crazies, and Aliens, are well, Aliens.

And stay away from Pittsburgh too, now known as The Pitt.

I'm not sure what will happen when you see some Brotherhood Soldiers, so try to avoid contact. Oh wait, who the hell was that other guy?

Urist's Journal, Day 3 of Operation: Evac, Tenpenny Tower

We left during the night. It was probably around 4 A.M. or so, when we started walking down the highway. While we were walking, I noticed that the slaver that joined us yesterday had left while we were sleeping. Apparently, the Outcast had a fight with her when they were on lookout and she probably left because of that. It doesn't matter really...just wish I could've taken her ammo or something.

I decided it was time to ask the Outcast his name. He said it was Zane. When I turned to look ahead of me, I saw something weird.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

We had a fierce fight, but we managed to kill two of those things. Alyx got beat up pretty bad though. Zane said those were Night Ghouls- a breed of ghouls that live outside, but only appear during nighttime.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

When we got off the highway we found three trucks all in a circle- sort of like one of those colonists' camps way back when. It was spraypainted. Alyx told me that that color of spraypaint is usually used by raiders. We snuck around the trucks to find three raiders sleeping sound in a truck.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Sneaking inside of it, I picked their pockets and stole their ammo. Then, I ran outside with the rest of my team to a safe distance and started shooting.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Nobody got out.
We were back on the road again. I was looking for a radio station- to find out where these transmissions are coming from and so I can send some back. So far, I've found nothing of the sort. I did find a ghoul cannibal town though!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

With them all laying dead before us, we looted their houses and left. The things I saw there were gruesome..I don't wanna talk about it.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The road led us straight to a waste dump. It was heavily irradiated, and had the Giant Ants to show for it. After grabbing some ant meat, we looted the dump office and continued down the trail.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Unfortunately, the road eventually disappeared, and we had to trek across the wasteland without a guiding path. We ended up at a fort. The inhabitants? Talon Company. They immediately started shooting and I thought we were all going to lose our lives there. Fortunately, I had a little something up my sleeve.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

We managed to kill off all the guards outside of the fort, and got us some sweet new gadgets to show for it! Alyx suggested we raid the base, but I decided to leave. It was way too dangerous around here. There was a road leading up to the fort, so we walked down that. We ended up arriving at some traintracks to meet a merchant.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I traded a bit with the merchant. He had some outrageous prices, but he had a guard so I couldn't threaten him like the last scavenger. He offered to repair my weapons for free if I gave him some power armor, so I gave him some that I looted off an enclave trooper. I asked him what the traintracks led to, and he said that it was a huge raider compound. The merchant told me they had a huge monster caged in there, that could probably wipe out a city! I thanked him and left towards a chapel in the distance.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

As I neared it, a wastelander jumped out while on fire! I jumped back and he fell dead. A raider came around the corner, but Zane was too quick. He was behind the raider, and the Outcast set him ablaze. The battle was over quickly. In the distance, I could see a tower that was so tall it pierced the heavens. I told my team that was the destination: Tenpenny Tower.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

We didn't make it far before we saw two wastelanders setting up mines. When I asked them what they were for, they ran off. Suddenly, a huge bear-wolflike creature jumped from the bushes and ran after them. They ran towards the mines, and one jumped across. The other wasn't as lucky. The wastelander cried out for his fallen partner, before running and hiding inside a truck. We took the opportunity to fire on the beast. After it was dead, I took the meat on it's corpse. It looked disgusting, but as my father always said: 'When you eat the flesh of the beast, you gain it's strength. When you eat the heart of the beast, you get it's courage. When you eat the eyes of the beast, you gain it's perception. When you eat the brains of the beast, you get food poisoning.' We helped the wastelander out of the truck and asked him to join us. He accepted. I think his name was Hodgins or something. Then, we saw this thing.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I call it a Giecko. It's like a gecko, but radiation made it huge and let's it stand on two feet. It could probably even talk if it wanted to. Nearby, we found two slavers travelling to Tenpenny Tower too. We let them join us for the time being. They were constantly bickering, I wanted to get rid of them asap. Not to mention one of them had an eyepatch.

While we were travelling, the tower was getting closer and closer. We happened upon a large robot factory. In the parking lot, we saw an old man being followed by three robots. When I asked if I could buy one, he said that he could sell me Sergeant RL-3, top notch Mister Gutsy! I really wanted a robot, so I asked how much. 1000 caps. I had 400 caps, Zane had 150 caps, Alyx had 150 caps, the bickering slavers offered me 200 caps after giving them a load of meat, and Hodgins gave me 200 caps for the help with that monster. Sergeant RL-3 was mine!! I stored some of my useless junk I've been collecting with him and then went back on the path to Tenpenny Tower.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

There it was...Tenpenny Tower. It was quite beautiful actually; it was huge and wasn't effected by the bombs. When we arrived at the gates, a ghoul was talking on the intercom. It didn't look like the Night Ghouls we've been seeing...I don't know. Zane wanted to blow it's brains out, but Alyx argued that they are people just like us. Suitable for slavery, of course. When the ghoul left, I asked if I could come inside. The guard answered that I couldn't. To put it bluntly, of course. I offered him 100 caps, and he instantly agreed and let me in.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I've never seen anything so beautiful. The inside of the tower, I mean.

Trooper, you know your helmet has a built in communicator, right? How do you think some troops call in Vertibrids!?
Any way, I agree with Alyx. That ghoul however is willing to slaughter civilians just to live in that tower!
Go get some R and R. Oh, and so you know, I'm a little busy in the British City of Malton holding off zombies. The other Delta Force members couldn't handle it. Mr. Tenpenny wants to blow up the settlement of Megaton, Don't know why, jerk. Near Megaton is a Talon Company Forward Camp. If you can't figure out how to use the communicator, go look for a Ham Radio. Ones gotta be nearby... My frequency is 140.85.

Hey, you! I've hacked this frequency, so I can't talk for long, but I'm a Brotherhood of Steel spy operating in Raven Rock. There's a lot of stuff going down, and you're being hunted. I stole a piece of vital information, but the Enclave think YOU stole it.

The Enclave are planning something big, and I don't think the Brotherhood can stop them alone. You've got to...*Static*...Citadel...*Static*...DC Ruins...*Static*...Adams Airforce Base...*Static*...shit...*Static*...tracing me...*Transmission cut*

Dammit, 117, GET OUT OF THERE!
God, Edens pissed off right now...

Goddamn ZAX Supercomputer. DAMN IT!
Adams Airforce Base is the home of the Mobile Base Crawler and highly trained Hellfire Troopers.
My Deltas, Rangers, and SEALS can't handle them with out something powerful, like the M72 Gauss Rifle.
