Indeed it is, I was simply busy last night. You may have to excuse the occasional delay, but hopefully the simpler nature of this game with make it more survivable than the BSF one. But believe it or not, these can take quite a while (couple hours sometimes) to write. Maybe I should get used to doing it in parts if necessary.
TURN 13RandomNumberGenerator (Viper)If so, jump over to it. If not, tie a rope around my waist, tie the other end to some support, and climb over.
(5) You see the vault door open, now's your chance! You lunge across and into the window, unseen, unheard and uninjured. In fact you wish there were some ladies around to see that. The room is piled full of ornate glasswork, piles of bullion, exotic weapons and miscellaneous jewelry, all of nearly flawless craftsmanship (although you're pretty sure some of them smell cursed). In the center sits the fist-sized yellow cheese diamond, which glows with unusual lustre and reveals dark flecks as the light shifts. You also check to make sure you can get out easily- there are two levers by the door. That could be a problem. You take a moment to look out the south window. From upon this perch, you can see all of Cheesiestan. Now you have only to smuggle the diamond out.
Wimdit (Laodike)Go back to the CRIME SCENE. If the captain of the guard is still there, ask him about possible circumstances that might have caused the killer to flee, and for any other pertinent information. Also, examine the scene more carefully, as well as Reginald's body. Maybe he has something that will provide a clue as to why he was in the warehouse.
You muse on the peculiar nature of the killing as you walk back to the Warehouse. The guard captain has left, and Reginald has been taken to a funeral at the Temple of Bleu Sky. However, the Shipwright expected you might be back, and has taken care to leave everything just as it was. (?+1) Turning over the cloth that had been left on the ground, you find a few coins. You're pretty sure these were carelessly dropped. The Shipwright (Eddo) tells you that he thinks it's related to what was under the cloth- namely, some secret project Reginald was keeping. Eddo says that Reginald hurriedly asked to stow it there one night a few days before the murder.
Kilakan (Kilaran)pick up mechanisms, pickaxe, and pull the lever (may be a doomsday device, but I'm SOBER I MUST HAVE OUT!!!) Check door to seem if it's open and whether or not I could pick it.
You grab the stuff. Pulling the lever does nothing, it might be broken, you mumble dimly. The door is locked, but the frame is cracked. (5) In a violent rage of sober desperation, you chop the door out of its housing. (1) Your pick breaks into pieces though, you'll have to find another. For all you know this piece of refuse was made by
humans. The room you're in just has a table, a set of keys, and another door. It must be a guard break room. But wait... an abandoned beer! You
quaff that shit.
KineseN (Recital Sky)As the rubble and dust starts to settle down I notice that the Yakety Sax has ended. Me being in a bad position right now decide to flee. But before that I moon the king, then I run.
(6+1=7) The King peers through the falling dust. The throne room, seat and jewel of the kingdom, has been brought to its knees. All about, choking guards recover their footing, check their wounds. And through the clearing chaos, the king peers upon... you! It appears his vision is clouded red as well as grey; he takes up Urist's Axe and gives chase, frothing in rage! Bet you weren't counting on that one. (3+1=4) V (1) You hightail it out of the rubble and through a hole in the wall to the courtyard, only to see the king stumble flat on his face. "CUUUUUURSE YOUUUU JESTEEEEEERR!"
Tehstefan (Roderick)Investigate this new door. Perhaps something of interest is behind it. A dragon slaying bow, or a vile foe to be vanquished! I'd show why elves and their bows should be feared!
You push on the bulkhead. (1) It only goes ajar. Magma starts to flow through. (6) You get your sorry elven ass out of there, with the flow right behind you! It looks like the magma in there is just going to keep rising though.
