How about building a McDonalds and waiting for them to grow fat and lazy? Some firewater could help as well.

They should of instead, used avatar bodies to fully integrate into the Na'vi society, and then slowly turned the na'vi against each other and poison their well water.

Then they ask the tree who did it and get clear finger pointing.

It all comes back to being hard to trick the natives, when the natives really can talk to the trees and animals, and the trees and animals are talkative and angry.

God I can't wait for the new Dwarf Fortress.  I'm so making Angry Trees.

There are already angry trees Aqizzar.

Culturebomb them.  Airdrop DVDs of American TV, whole McDonalds restaurants, whatever clothes are in style.  Once they assimilate it and start acting like us, just walk in and say "Hey broseph, mind if we slum it under that big, like, tree over there?"

Take the unobtainium.  Afterward, blow up the planet.

The Na'vi have already made it abundantly clear that they don't give a wooden nickle about the Sky People.

They already have the Web. I'm sure they have fungus DVD players, fern powerplants, vine power lines and jaguar corporate CEO's to overcharge them all.

It'll be like the Flinstones, only in an alien jungle.

But who'll tell them about 09 F9?

this is as plausible as Independence Day aliens using Apple computers.

I don't think the "We're gods" gambit would work. If the Na'vi weren't impressed by that floating baneblade of an airship I don't think any amount of pyrotechnics will cut it.
