Judging by the way Unobtainium is described in the 'manual' stuff, it appears to share roots with Gravitium, if so, then Unobtainium is to Gravity what Iron is to Magnetism.

What i mean is, you run an electric current through Unobtainium, and it creates a gravitational field.

Yes it makes no sense whatsoever. That's where the 'Fiction' part comes in.

And this is only because a sci fi movie. If this was about a sci fi book we'd have went through the 9th layer of hell and back already, specially if it involved certain pretentious sci fi writers, like Orson Scott Card and Harlan Ellison.
