Sounds like a bad idea to me, since without the scum around to thin out numbers an SK will have a very hard time winning so early into the game.

Question: If we all claim our letter crossfire, can it be possible to identify either who lied about their lettersending / who has to be a Scrooge that's keeping the game going? Everyone can also claim their gift status.

Honestly, without the Mafia still alive, Santa's death isn't even much of a threat any more. There's a reasonable chance the Scrooge can't even attempt to kill Santa, and even if he can it'll be only a minor setback, yes?

If I'm missing something and/or this idea is stupid, please let me know.

And a reminder, I sent no letters to anyone, thus I cannot be the remaining scum. If anyone wishes to claim I sent any letters, do so now. I have a vote for you.

I think it's a good idea.

The only problem we do have is that both of the grinches are dead, so we can't actually prove who sent or didn't send them letters. There is also RNG, so we can't prove someone didn't send any letters to him either.

Still, overall I think we're better off with more information since it'll cut down on people we need to worry about.

Both Santa and the Helper are alive though, so the Scrooge can't have become an SK without one of them getting a letter about it.  If he's a grinch ally... well, he has no kill now, right?

Dakarian - can a grinch-ally win on his own?  Does he get to use the grinchkill when the grinches are dead?

I was in the middle of typing something else when I got the warning about a new post. Since the answer to that question would completely change things I stopped and posted that statement instead.

I'm not sure yet. I'd guess Grinch-helper, based on the fact that we only had the one kill on web last night, but I suppose an SK could just have easily decided not to do anything.

I think we really need to know what letters were sent to figure this out.

Well, if we get a helper claim, we can narrow down the list of potential serial killers.  And if the Scrooge isn't a Serial Killer... well, he has no kill, and is doomed (Santa + Santa's helper = confirmed town).

Actually, we should probably assume that he's at least got a one-shot kill. If he's a grinch ally, he's definitely going to be holding onto that until he get get us down to lylo.
