Step one, rip out throat.
Step two, apply bandages.

Recieve strangling resistance +50.
BONUS POINTS: Become king of a dwarven civ, start a fortress using that civ. You know what happens now.

you dont need a throat to live, there are lots of people who lost/damaged there throats in life and live on with a casing around the neck for aestetical purposes

as long as nothing falls in, and your main bloodlines + spinal cord are not damaged you should be "fine" said for the unattractive scarring/you lost your fcking throat

Never had an adventurer lose a throat, but you can sustain some pretty gruesome injuries (ie losing both legs) and still survive if you can get to the Travel map before you bleed/pass out. I imagine the throat-losing was a similar scenario?

He lost his legs, so we gave him pegs,
He lost his arms, and we pegged them too.
He lost his head, and we thought "he's dead!"
But we pegged it up, and he's good as new!
