I dont like permenent bans and I think that we should unban everyone who was permenent banned.

THIS. I strongly second this. It is wiser words than most of you realize.

NO punishment shuld EVER be permanent. any amount of suffering, times infinite time, euals INFINITE SUFFERING. Death gets in the way of that actualy happening, but still, it is by principle very, very, very bad.

Also, the thing IWM got baned for was a missunderstanding, and one that e regrets. Also, e IS IP banned, and can't look at the forums withoute a proxy.

No, Armok.  Being banned does not entail permanent suffering.  You might be upset for a while, but you would get over it.

It's no use trying to petition Toady to repeal a ban on the forum, there's too many people against bringing IWM back. The best thing you can do, lock this thread and PM or email Toady.

And Armok, if you're suffering because you're banned from a forum - get out more.

I can't- there is noone outside to go to. This forum is literaly the only comunity where I have any friendly relationships. IRL, I only have contact with my mum, my teacher, and my phsycologist, and I don't really have any option that would get more. So, I'd love to, but I am simply unable to in my curent situation.

If there wasn't permanent bans, jackass trolls would come up until they get a 3 day mute, then return when it's over.
Nothin' says "go away" like never being able to enter the forum ever again, and that's the only way we can keep them out.

Yeah, with IWM it was a misunderstanding, but still last time this happened VN was locked.

I also miss Okenido. Maybe because I have no idea what was done to get the ban.

Please, let's not turn this into yet another "bawwww I'm Armok this forum's all I got thread."  We have enough of those.

And if IWM had been warned multiple times, it's no longer a misunderstanding.  "Oh, sorry about making homophobic remarks, I thought you knew it was just a joke.  Yeah, I know you told me to stop three or four times.  What do you mean, you're banning me?  It was just a joke"
