The last "bigoted" comment (seemingly the reason for the banning) by NME was actually badly interpreted.
When he said (something along the lines of) "troop off to 4chan and kill all of the faggots there"
He was using "faggots" as a derogatory term, not as it's actual purpose.
Much like a person would use "gay" to voice displeasure at a person or Idea, rather than calling them homosexual.

Anyway, a lot of people don't seem to understand how bans work here. Once you have been permanently banned, your IP is as well. This means that you cannot even access the forums, much less make another account unless you get some sort of proxy program.

So no, none of those that are banned are watching us, at it would take a considerable effort to do so.

Lastly, Toady has stated somewhere that a person who was banned before was later unbanned once he wrote an e-mail to Toady apologizing about a year after he had been so. So if anyone wants to be unbanned, they can simply e-mail Toady himself.

If all you want to talk to Yanlin, you can do it over Steam. I'm not sure where you can catch IWM, but it ought to be possible.

IP bans: When an ISP changes your IP, if it does occasionally, you can come back. If you move, or change ISPs, you probably have a new IP.

The ISP changes your IP, either randomly or because you switched, you didn't get them to do so.
