Windmills & no wind
« on: December 21, 2009, 03:12:31 am »

Hey guys,

If my windmills show "0 power, inactive", is there ANYTHING at all i can do?

It really sucks, to construct a very nice steel magma pump, only to find that I can't use it properly!

Do you have a river? If yes, then try waterwheels instead. If no, then I don't think you are lucky.

Underground one, only. Looking for it as we speak. Ugh.

Very rarely do windmills not have power.

I guess this is one of those times.

Your only other solution, as mentioned, is waterwheels. It doesn't take much to set up a quick perpetual motion machine, but I'll leave you to design the specifics.

If you have a few murky pools you could draw water from them to use in a closed perpetual motion machine. You don't need flowing water, but it does make things easier.
