The worst death i seen was a bear came in and killed a dwarf while asleep but pulled off all organs then head and then killed the rest. So yea he was TORE apart in a bed

I think i've read about a few worse/closish things, such as an elf adventurer who ate a werewolf alive while lay in a pile of his own blood with two broken arms or a different adventurer who used wrestling to break every possible bone in an opponents body and then gouge their eyes out.

But still, both arms, both legs and his eyes? ouch!!

I had a kitten trapped between two ogre wrestlers. Not entirely sure if I'm exaggerating this or if it's true (if it is, I want to know how for adventure mode), but it looks like they systematically pulled off it's paws, then it's legs, then finally smashed it's head and left it dying before heading into the line of sight of my marksdwarf towers. Poor kitten died of blood loss. Even for a kitten, that's a pretty brutal death, and to top it off, now I have vermin problems /sigh.

You know you've got one hell of a game when the game itself is as capable at Videogame Cruelty Potential as the players are.

In unmodded, I can't really think of any special occurances.

But in modded, before I made nuclear catsplosion, I made it so dwarves blew up in the same way. Then played adventurer mode.
I kept exploding in body parts seconds after resurrecting myself. It's rather odd seeing "Your corpse" lying on the ground next to you before you spontaneously spray your organs in a thirty foot radius and paint the hillside red with your own blood.

I had been setting up some traps in front of my fortress entrance (a lever is pulled, and three green spike impale with extreme prejudice). I was having the lever pulled to make sure the trap worked okay, and was not aware that a kitten was standing on the spike exit point.

The surrounding tiles were a lovely shade of red.

I saw a screenshot of a kobold who took down a bronze collosus in worldgen.

I was mad at one of my nobles, so I forced him to fall down a cave-in, and he died of blood loss from a mangled foot. Guess the medic dwarves didn't really need him anymore either.

I think I had a kobold kill a megabeast, then got killed by a titan.

i had a kobold kill like 2 giants, and then died of old age.
lol.

Too bad i dont have the save, had to clean it out.

But my most greusome death i witnessed was when a stupid dwarf went to the bottom of my execution tower to pick up the corpses when they were still being dropped.
Now the second goblin landed on him and stunned him, also lightly hurting him.
The third came down and re stunned him.
By this time the second goblin had recovered and started beating the dwarf with its hands.
The fourth goblin came down and stunned the dorf again, third goblin started beating the dwarf...
So on and so on till all 9 alive goblins started beating the crap out of that poor dorf, oh and like three kittens, but theyre not important.

Was hilarious to watch aswell...
Took ages for the dorf to die aswell...
