The issue isn't that they see the jumpsuit, its the fact that an alarm goes off. Unless you're great at bluffing then simply wearing the right gear won't be enough

It would be cool though if someone with high security could disable the alarm being triggered by messing with the security systems in a separate room.

That would need multiple squads though and that would require a pretty massive change of the game mechanics.
Maybe if you went to a security room and messed with them beforehand so they wouldn't go off?

Also, I think it's cheap that I can only have 6 people and then get mobbed by 20 SWAT guys when I leave. There's no way I can beat that, even with level 20 swordsmen.

No, Not multiple squads, just send the squad to the other room first.

Also with the SWAT teams, you can beat them with 20 sword plus good dodge, although I only know from a cheat save, its probably almost impossible to get people that skilled otherwise.

EDIT: Well not impossible, you can also beat them with 10 sword

I say when a conservative gets wounded enough another conservative gets him and leads him to safety.

Same thing with liberals.

Also, if Police Officers and CCS members are in the same area, they should combat each other. Like if the CCS are attacking an area and you could get there fast enough you should be able to fend them off, and then if the SWAT teams come they should let you go, just because you were only countering the CCS. Not sure about those Blackwater those ordinary mercenaries though.

I was on a date... I was only gone for 24 hours! :-[

Anyway, I'm assuming the big question is whether weapons still nullify uniforms? Only with the wrong combination of weapon and uniform. The bad news is that the death squad uniform is not currently set to allow any weapons, I think, so that's a bug. It should work with, say, an army uniform plus an M16.

There should also be some sort of encumbrance/capacity thing, and maybe backpacks and such to deal with that. It just seemed unrealistic when poor Rex, almost crushed to death by the weight of thousands of suits, still managed to crawl his way, I imagine screaming in agony and sobbing at the cruelty of the Liberal Crime Squad, to the pawn shop.

Probably not. With enough secrecy on your safehouse, you can sustain significantly larger body counts than that before getting raided, assuming you aren't just chilling there. The game isn't designed to be realistic in this; it's designed to be fun, which means you don't get raided real quick.

If it's just a matter of just going to the pawnshop with what's in the safehouse, it's assumed you can abstract any number of trips/carts/whatever. If you really have thousands of suits, that's pretty wild and unusual. I don't think it'd benefit the game much to force you to do the same pawnshop trip several days in a row in order to sell all your loot.

It used to be that you could bring tons of guns and weapons with you on site. The problem was that there it did feel odd that you had a whole armory in your back pocket, and it allowed you to avoid stealth restrictions. You could suit up in heavy body armor and assault rifles after penetrating deep into the place and right before you set off the alarm. That's pretty weird. I wouldn't have an issue with a bag system (several options for having bags were proposed back when squad inventory was still in place), but it'd be a fair amount of coding to get a decent one in place, so it has to contend with other priorities.

Yeah, that's true. I only had thousands of suits because I was running this tailoring suits thing - they cost 300 to make and sell for a bit more, I believe.
Dear god, I'm running a conservative sweatshop.

Fundamental hypocrisies are essential in Liberal Crime Squad.  The most obvious other ones relate to guns and free speech.

Hiring mercs doesn't make much sense for the LCS.  Fighting for money is conservative behavior.  Liberals fight out of self sacrifice.

I was on a date... I was only gone for 24 hours! :-[

Turn him into a love slave and get him to help you code LCS!
