If Leafsnail is surefire scum to you, why aren't you voting for him?  Is the only thing you have the 'argument' between him and me?  Does that mean we've been townish to you otherwise? 

In other words, enough of the soft "wanna be" scumhuntings.  It just makes you look passive and fearful of being wrong. 


Or is the REAL problem that you don't want to be buddying with me anymore and going after Leafsnail AND you don't want to OMGUS and thus go after me.  Instead, you want the town to pick one and help you lynch one instead perhaps.




In short:

You buddied with me, played at being confused, and, once called out, hatched up some 'hidden plan' the excuse the fact that you aren't scumhunting.  Now that the focus is on you, you prod the town towards trying to lynch who you want lynched without actually LOOKING like you want them lynched.  Just enough to seem like you're hunting, but not enough to be suspicious, and hopefully, enough to keep you in the sidelines.

To make it even shorter: You're scum, and you need to be lynched.

GAH!  I forgot that you hadn't been culted yet when you were posting in BYOR 2 >_>  I might just be picking up on a new scumhunting style or somesuch.  I'll be honest, though.  Something seems off, so I'm going to keep my vote on you until I figure out what it is.

As far as I know, it's a term my rural cousin made up.  Instead of saying "dude" or "buddy," you go with "doodabuddy."  Rolls off the tongue well (though it apparently also has an unfortunate tendency to inspire hilarity).

My friends actually roffled the first time they heard me say it.  One of them still can't stop snickering, more than 6 months later.

So let's see, you flat out said that you hate using the 'fake fight' argument because it requires you to make a scumteam during Day 1, however, excluding that, there's nothing that Leaf said all by himself that marks him scummy to you (the way he RVed, the response to my attack, the way that he attacked, the way that he stopped attacking...) as an individual, meaning everything he's done has either been pro-town or a null tell in your eyes. 

So, instead of pushing him more, prodding him for more evidence, shaking hmi to find a real scumtell, or simply continuing to watch him silently for later, you use a reason you know involves a very risky and poor quality tactic (scumteam building) to vote for him.  Bah, you do this while not even LOOKING at anyone else: I guess no one else threw scumtells either during your 'Epic Scum Watching'.


By the way, if you approved of my scumhunting technique (thus my attack on Leafsnail) what WERE you expecting for the ending?  You claim to have watched the argument closely. If you thought my argument was sound and just thought I was wrong to stop then you would've mentioned them in your reasons for Leafsnail being scum.  If you thought my reasons weren't valid at the end then did you expect me to just Tunnel him to the ground? 

Or is the answer to that question "I don't like that we didn't end up with a Leafsnail lynch so I'm trying to finish what you started and mark you scum for it?" 

Or maybe you are just looking for something, anything, to save your own hide since just about everything after the "Dak's so great" talk had to be pulled from you tooth by tooth.

But if we're a scumteam, why aren't you pressuring dakarian in any way?  In fact, you aren't pressuring or asking me any questions either, just voting me and calling me scum.

Lastly: ToonyMan, I have no idea what the hell you are, but whatever it is, it isn't town.  Therefore, I am eradicating you now.  I haven't announced my ability up until now, since I thought there might be a scum daykiller, but now I have found a target I can use it (it's part of the reason I fought dakarian - I wanted to find a target for my ability before the day was out).

For that reason, unvote, vote Pandarsenic.  Pandarsenic - what makes you think it was a staged fight?  If we're a scumteam, why aren't you questioning either of us?  Have you got any opinions on anything else?

Let's analyze Pandarsenic's pro-towniness, shall we?

And Leafsnail is scum.

What I was watching was the Dakarian/Leafy argument. I didn't want to vote Leafsnail because I was trying to observe their dynamic.

What weirds me out here is that as their argument escalates, they suddenly both disengage. Leafsnail uses a Tunnelvision-Avoidance excuse and Dakarian, perhaps, was poking at me so that when Leafy does this he can switch to someone (i.e. me).

The old argument was "Scum never fake fights" but I've seen it multiple times now. That argument is dead. Leafy and Dak poked and prodded at each other in a faux-aggressive way and then suddenly both ran in opposite directions.

The only thing I really, REALLY don't like about my present suspicion is that it necessitates a scum TEAM, which is a bad move. But the point stands.

Here was his first (delayed) "attack" on Leafsnail and dakarian.
Can anyone be anymore passive than that? I would expect an interrogation for the time he took "watching" them!
