I am, however, struggling to understand why my internet has begun disconnecting randomly despite being wired into the wall. I'm also keeping very strange hours (thus the fact that I'm posting at 3:40 AM my time) and, well, yeah.

If you were Zai, I'd accept this answer. He only posted one post, since the game began.
You, however, made quite a fair number of posts so far. Even if your connection is truly bad, you're not showing it. And instead of the excuse, you could have invested that time to scumhunt, or at least took some effort to RVS.
Before you say again that your connection is bad and you couldn't write long replies, let me just remind you of such tools as Notepad and even Offline browsing.

Better to defend myself than to try to brush off accusations. for now, I'm watching something and I don't want to "contaminate the sample," so to speak, by disrupting it.

My wired connection is doing the same as well for like 2 weeks so far.  Every once in a while I LOSE connection on a wired signal.

You bandwagoned and when you were asked to provide reasoning behind your votes, you basically said: "yeah... what Leaf said".
At least elaborate on his points, at least put some thought in what you say, at least TRY to appear like you care for the townies and don't want a mislynch!

- inteuniso , Very cute where you threw that post making a poke against Toonyman while unvoting Leafsnail.  Now you have a few questions to answer:

1. Why did you unvote Leafsnail without a single comment about it?  The post had the sense of a street performer keeping us entertained with his left hand while doing something sneaky with his right hand.

2. Why DIDN'T you vote for ToonyMan considering you felt he was bandwagoning (a rather nasty scumtell)?  If you didn't care to vote for him, or even FoS him, what was the point to making that comment?  It was off-hand and didn't seem like you really wanted any real information.

The fact is, I was suspicious of toonyman. I forgot to FoS (Definitely one of the downsides of being noob. I'll need to remember that next time). ToonyMan is being very, very suspicious.

I unvoted leafsnail because he had answered all questions, and because he (at the moment) doesn't entirely seem too scummy.

Meta in Mafia = using the a player's past games to read them in the current game.

i.e. a certain player flip flopps their vote often as town but when they played as scum they tunnel more.

Now, you are playing a new game with that person.  You see them put their vote down and stay on it all day, the beggings of a tunnel.


Result: According to Meta, he is acting scummy.


Very good players will figure out how they look as town and scum and will, over time, make their scum game look more like their town game.  A key sign when this might be occuring is when they start mentioning their own meta. 

(thus why I said "self-meta = null tell"  When you use your own knowledge of your meta to prove yourself town, you show you know enough about it to manipulate it.  You COULD be town, you COULD be scum.. Thus the defense is thrown out and can't be used to judge anything)

Mm hmm.  I also know how easy it is for the scum to play along in it until it gets serious.  Scum especially like it because it's easy for them to hold back the 'scumtells' that people use and to accuse others of it.

Vicious and adulterous bullshit; I've made a total of 2 posts before this one. The second one just being a response to Pandar's out-of-game question, but 'twas a second post nonetheless. At that point, I didn't think anything was "asking for" too much suspicion, so I just made that post and went to sleep. I woke up early the next day (Saturday, Jan. 9), and had to throw up. So I did. Then I went back to sleep, woke up again, barfed, and repeated that cycle about 4 or 5 times before I finally decided to stay awake. Then I just rested the day away in discomfort, pretty much just getting on the computer to send Dak a PM telling him of my circumstances as I'm in 2 games of his. And today I still feel like crap, but in a much different way; I'm sore all over, stiff in my neck, and various other stuff.

I will hopefully be (almost) completely better by tomorrow (Monday the 11th), which should give me enough time to review what's been said as I've just been skimming over everything since my last post.
