I'm not panicking, Dakarian.  I don't care if you've decided I'm the best candidate for a mislynch.  There's something very interesting about your post - lots of accusations and no questions.  Why?  Simple - you're trying to get me lynched, not find out my alignment.

When I want you lynched, I'll make it much more clearer than a simple vote and accusation.  I thought you knew my meta?  I make sure to do at least that no matter WHAT I am.

Or is the 'I know your meta' argument just a means of trying to add credibility to your attack.  For someone who's fussing so much about being so quick to kill, you seem to have phrased your first attack on me as a sure fire "lynch him now".  Were's YOUR questions?  Where's YOUR push to figure out my alignment?  Why are you playing the 'Aggression=scum' card?

If you're accusing me of this, and yet you say your strategy is fine, what mess up am I jumping on?  Do you really regard yourself as an "Easy lynch"?

I threw a weak attack on you and pushed hard on it.  You attacked me based on the idea that I threw a weak attack on you and pushed hard on it.  That's the 'mess up' I'm claiming you jumped on. 

You and I both know this isn't true.  Scum tends to just brush off any RVS accusations and try to avoid attention.

Both can be, in truth.  Some will look for anything that can 'bite' and aim for a quicklynch.  Others will try to hide and stay back.  It depends on the individual.

It's not so much the lack of vote as the lack of followup.  The way you said "Oh Pandar that's scummy but nevermind, I won't try to get an answer to my question".  Similarly, you attack inteuniso until he backs down ("Oh yeah you were scumhunting, sry"), then stop.  No followup, once again.

You mean the question I threw at Pandar?  That was rhetorical.  It was more of a "why are you fussing about my scumhunting, foo?" than something to be answered.

Pandar, though, already showed an interesting side of him: buddying and confusion.  I'll be addressing that one shortly, though I was hoping to do a very quick widescan after this.

Inteuniso, I'm not sure what to make of him at the moment.. he's Nully on me (well, passive, but I'm hesitant to deem it a full scumtell JUST yet).

On the meta front regarding the confusion:

I always play close attention as scum. Inattentiveness is a terrible gamble and fake inattentiveness would only draw attention (as my semi-inattentiveness has).

I would contend that, er... how to say this. I tend to skim posts until we're in the main part of the game. Normally it doesn't lead to anything too bad but this time it did.

I didn't/don't see the buddying you referred to, so... yeah.

But isn't inattentiveness, by definition, anti-town? Why aren't you trying to scumhunt? You seemed active enough.
So far you haven't really done anything pro-town, unless you count explaining the game to others and defending yourself.

I am, however, struggling to understand why my internet has begun disconnecting randomly despite being wired into the wall. I'm also keeping very strange hours (thus the fact that I'm posting at 3:40 AM my time) and, well, yeah.

Better to defend myself than to try to brush off accusations. for now, I'm watching something and I don't want to "contaminate the sample," so to speak, by disrupting it.

Self-meta defense = Nulltell.  You can't defend a regular attack with meta since it easily turns into WIFOM: it can easily be you trying to cover yourself.  The RL matters, though, make more sense, however.

Sidenote: 'watching something'.  Meh.  I'll hold you to that one.


Buddying:  After one question about whether I'm scumhunting you not only clearly mark me as town (oh, he's scumhunting) but defend me against Ino and attack dorf for 'copying' (speaking of which, you didn't answer the question.  He asked what you were considering when you made the attack.  Even if you now see it as a mistake, you HAD an idea when you first wrote it). 

Aka, you seem very VERY close to me for some reason and basing what little concentration you can muster around me leading the town.

I think the disconnects may be related to Xlink Kai and the Network Adapter (and drivers) I use for it attempting to override my normal connection.

What you're doing (technically) is not necessarily scumhunting, but if it isn't I applaud you for being damn convincing. I... urgh, I don't want to say too much about what I'm doing until the thing I'm watching plays out.

Deflecting argument is deflecting.  Aggression does not mean scum, but a constant attack on the same person over small things is certainly a tell.  I attacked you somewhat harder over it because... well, I wanted to see your reaction.  I'd seen a tell, and scum tends to back down if struck too hard.

I'd say scum picking Dakarian as a mislynch target would be suicidal.

If I'm honest though, there's something that's worrying me about this fight.  Noone other than ToonyMan has said anything about it (and he just agreed with me vaguely) and it makes me feel the scum are just sitting back and sniggering at a townie fight.  That and dakarian's rectified most of the things I've said about him... eh.  I'll try not to get pulled into tunnelvision.

With that in mind, unvote:
ToonyMan, what was your logic for jumping on dakarian?  Mindless bandwagon really isn't a Toony town tell.

Pandarsenic, have you got any suspicions at all?  I mean, if you make 4 posts of excuses, you can come up with a couple of points, right?
Dorf - any comments on people other than Pandarsenic?  Is the Vector vote still random or are you pushing it?
Dakarian - You mentioned Pandar and intenuoso, the people I mentioned, but said nothing about ToonyMan's reasonless bandwagonning.  Why?  Similarly, why did you only mention these people when I accused you of ignoring them?

- Pandarsenic, so far all you've done is look at me fondly and talk about someone you are watching.  The first IS buddying and it's ugly  The second means nothing.  All saying "yo have some secret action" does is defend yourself: attempting to say "I really am scumhunting and all those townie things.. I just can't show them to you.. just trust me, mkay?"

I call Bull.  You didn't need to mention your 'secret plans': instead you could've used the time you spent making calf eyes at me to actually go HUNTING for scum.  It's not hard to watch one person and attack another after all.

-To answer your bit about Toony, leafsnail, Toony's now in the 'wait and see' category.  He's playing at Unreadable with his head hidden.  He'll pop his head out pretty soon.


- inteuniso , Very cute where you threw that post making a poke against Toonyman while unvoting Leafsnail.  Now you have a few questions to answer:

1. Why did you unvote Leafsnail without a single comment about it?  The post had the sense of a street performer keeping us entertained with his left hand while doing something sneaky with his right hand.

2. Why DIDN'T you vote for ToonyMan considering you felt he was bandwagoning (a rather nasty scumtell)?  If you didn't care to vote for him, or even FoS him, what was the point to making that comment?  It was off-hand and didn't seem like you really wanted any real information.

Personally? I have this feeling the scum are ToonyMan and somebody else, either Pandarsenic or one of the noobs. Seriously, ToonyMan, refuge in audacity? Is that what you're going for? I can't figure out why you're bandwagoning so obviously and yet nobody's commenting on it. Is it because you're scum and your scum buddies are refusing to join in?

I didn't comment on the big fight earlier because I saw no reason to. A bit self preserving, yeah, but at this point, I would recommend dropping it (unless you think one side of the fight is scum, then continue). Over half the players need interrogation. I would myself, but Leafsnail's posed a good set of questions and, I care most about ToonyMan right now.
