Unless there's something I missed whilst going through the code, the dashio and sword are identical

Aside from flavor (the Daisho cites three different names depending on context due to the fact that it's actually two swords), I can confirm that they are identical in performance.

I still don't get why my Liberals in Police Uniforms can't use Shotguns, even though the police are shooting them with those.

Actually it looks like a bug, shotguns are considered illegal at all levels except A-C, even though you can buy them at Moderate(I think) in the games stealth calculations.

Actually scratch that, the illegal calculations are half-finished, they don't do anything, All the code for the consequences of illegal weapons has been commented out.

Shotguns are considered in character for police, BUT if the place is not currently under-siege it automatically sets the Shotguns to look out of place. Its the same for any weapon that can't be hidden.

IMO we should remove the siege check.

From the code:
Code: [Select]
// For now, you can only bluff your way out of toting weapons
// if you're in the middle of a siege where the place is getting
// stormed by people carrying such weapons

Doesn't make sense considering police at the latte stand seam to carry these weapons

I must have done that at some point. Maybe that was one of those bonehead moves that seemed like a good idea at the time but that I can't for the life of me remember doing now (like removing juice gains from stealing).

Yes there is. Try ALT-Enter.

Depending on your monitor you might need to readjust your screen.
