As the title says, i am making a race of squidmen. I was sort of wondering if these files would work for aforementioned squids:

Well, good enough as is (will work on DF), but remember that squids don't have ears or noses...

The main problem with modding in aquatic/amphibious civs is that attempting certain jobs, such as mining, underwater sends workers running in fear, even if they are excellent swimmers and/or can breathe water. This behavior, which makes more sense for dwarves, is apparently hard coded, unless that has changed or will change with the next release, though I've heard no direct mention of this. As soon as this restriction is lifted, I plan on modding amphibious Olmmen into a playable civ, myself.

Yeah, that does pose a small problem.

Oh, is there a tag that allows the creature to drink salt water?

Edit: And an Entity tag that changes the civ's city symbol?
