Why?!

Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus

SO bad.
Oh god I remember that.
Why the hell did I even see it?

And this?

About Slumdog Millionaire: I didn't hate Slumdog Millionaire, but I didn't really like it either. I kind of liked it though. But I think it only got the rewards because people were just honoring India.

About Avatar: It was fine.

About Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen: Neutral about it.

About Crank: High Voltage; ??

About The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button: For some reason, I liked it.

About Star Wars Episode 3: Hate it.

About The Thing: Kinda Liked it.

Crank is awesome, and anyone who denies that is a filthy liar.

I've never quite understood how an ancient Palestinian has become so westernised...

Really? 2000 years of Greeks and Romans and then other Europeans running the religion, and most of them have not been to the Holy Land or known that Jesus would have been born in a cave...plus everybody draws Jesus looking like themself. I've seen Japanese Jesuses, Zulu Jesuses, hispanic Jesuses...

Also  yeah why would you walk out on Kill Bill? I haven't actually seen it but so far what I've seen of Tarantino is pretty awesome. I guess if you hate violence

Well, I suppose so.  But it still seems odd to me when people complain about someone who isn't white playing the characters in, say, a nativity play.

Echoing the Kill Bill sentiment.  The "why did you walk out" one, I mean.  It's very much worth seeing once, at least.  It's sorta weird, though.  I like to think of the first half (as opposed to the "sequel", which felt a bit more normal -- for Tarantino, anyway) as almost a live action anime.  Ignoring the actual animated sequence, the whole movie's very stylized.  Maybe you were expecting "Pulp Fiction with 300% more Uma" and were sorely disappointed?

I feel i should add that Shoot 'Em Up is actually an incredible movie. It's clearly an experiment by a director who's gone "Hey, you know how action movies have climaxes at the end that are really exciting and awesome? What would happen if we took like twenty of those climaxes and made an entire movie out of them? The entire movie is just a series of climaxes taped together, think about it guys."

A 10 second clip of the main character walking across a room from Shoot 'Em Up is more dramatic than the entirity of most movies. It's incredible, is it good? Not really, but it is most definitely incredible.

I don't know what I was expecting, exactly. I do know that after watching KB (or half of it, anyway), I've been unable to stomach Tarantino's movies. Even Pulp Fiction, which I used to like. They played it some months after my walk-out and I got bored of it too. I think I developed an allergy to Tarantino over KB.

If the climaxes get gradually more intense, then I'm sold.

I haven't developed the allergy thankfully, but yeah, I found nothing to like about KB.  The action was lame and the whole endeavor felt too self-conscious for its own good.
