I pulled the lever. After like 20 hours, my computer finally started working the collapse around one frame per second.

Then a siege came. I'm not kidding. There are goblins sitting on the single row of land available to them.

Juicy Info!

I gave the save to a friend of mine, whom I learned had recently gotten himself a new computer.  The thing was a beast: Core i7 running at 4+ GHz, overclocked to a meticulous limit, with CO2 bottles as reserve cooling for more intensive games.  And two of the latest graphics cards in SLI.  A monster if there ever was one.

Anyway, I gave him Project Cube and told him to use this as a CPU benchmark of sorts.  I let him know that on a Core 2 Duo E6600, it took an hour from me striking the Save command, to being back to the main menu.

Here's his time:

Three minutes.

Sounds awesome, but way overkill honestly >.>

As for Cube, quite awesome... maybe I'll time it

It's often joked that 70% of 4chan is just one guy with a T3 connection and a quantum computer.

...I'm not so sure it's a joke any more.
