I would play, except for this:
Lurkers will be hunted down severely.

I sorely need the scumhunting training however.

Those don't mix well.  Lurking is a survival tactic and anti-town by design.  Scumhunting is an active action.

In essence, the fact that you deem yourself a lurker is a big reason why your scumhunting is in need of training.

Exception goes to Mafia themselves, who do have a good deal to gain for lurking.

So the town has a good deal to gain by routing out lurkers, I guess.  As I showed in NSBM2 :P.

Actually, isn't this setup exactly like NSBM2?  I mean, there wasn't a cop in that game...

Yeah, but in this case there's no threat of a cop/no cop the town can use as a crutch.  Changes things significantly.

Ah, ok.  Funnilly enough, webadict's "Eh, Mr. Godfather?" comment made me convinced that he was the cop.

It really is a NSBM in essence, except that now there's pretty much NO chance of a cop taking over things (like what happened in the original NSBM).  The 100% chance of a Doc means that mafia will need to think before just shooting the #1 target and town will have to think before deciding "You should've been killed off already.  LYNCHHHH!"  The RB is, in my mind, the traditional anti-doc tool for the mafia in things like this.

Eh... I'd say the NK would be enough to get rid of the doc in most situations.  Then again, an RB allows the mafia to keep the doc alive and counter claim, I guess.

And yeah, I did take over in NSBM1... although with the way TM and Pandar acted after my claim, it shoulda worked even if I wasn't a cop :P.

Watching. But there's some of us (Me, Kashyyk, Org, etc.) who need the training in scumhunting but are too experienced to be in Beginner's. Special-Ed Mafia?

TO be true, I'm thinking the best spot for that is Christmas Mafia.  There's roles in there but it starts off mountainous for 2 days, then even once the roles kick in most will be 1-shot and, thus, won't be too overwhelming.  The game will be decided, in the end, by the Day game.

So if you can't get in Mountainous but want scumhunting practice join Christmas Mafia.

Perhaps afterwards, I'll run a 'boot camp' style mafia game.
