This may sound stupid, but it's often the simplest things. Make sure you have the ip absolutely correct, periods and everything. Port, and pass as well.

I have had similar problems with NWN, sometimes I just cannot connect with some servers, does the host live in ... I think it was Canada...

Actually just scanned through and I didn't see Ram post a hosting address. Just about everyone else though.
