Well, that'll slow us down quite a bit...

Maybe you should get a job and start paying for the house's internet.  If you're paying for it, your parents can't tell you what to do on it (Within reason) and if they arbitrarily restrict you just because they're your parents, they're teaching you a bad lesson.

I WISH getting a job would shut them up. I've volunteered to work at McDonald's over the summer, but my parents want me to drive there, and I can't exactly take lessons until my knee finishes recovering. As for why they're so insane about it over Christmas Break, they claim that I'm wasting my life on "that damned computer" and I should be making better use of my time.

The reminder that I was doing stuff with my friends all weekend and the fact we are currently trapped in three feet of snow has done nothing to quell their rage.

Still, if you ever feel the situation is such that you can participate, make it known here at once.

Meanwhile, maybe we could make another session with a missing player? You did manage without me once. ;)

That's true.  I suppose we can if everyone else can make it.

No, they're just ordinary parents, complete with nonsensical claims of "video games will rot your brain".

Could I get on the waiting list? I've never actually had a chance to play D&D, but it sounds fun.

Houston, we may have a problem.

I can no longer open Gametable.  It just won't open anymore.

I don't know what the deal with it is.  There are other programs we could probably use, though, if it doesn't start working again.

Restart no help?

It takes bloody long to open it on my PC. If you have Process Explorer, look if the java process is running. If you're using the default .bat file, change it to use javaw instead of java.

If you do have Process Explorer, and the java process is running after you run the .bat, try adjusting priority on the java process.

Failing that, yeah, we might need another app. I almost made this one work on my PPC, too.

OpenRPG seems to be the best alternative there is.

I believe there is also Maptool
