Next Thursday I don't have class.  Is that good for everyone?

Not if it's midnight GMT-0.

I'm back at college next week.

Maybe. I'd have to end earlier than normal, because I in fact do have class. But I think I could play for at least two hours.

Well, we know Cthulhu can theoretically handle 20-22 GMT. I can, too.

I think we just don't have any better time than GMT midnight. Any earlier, RAM might not make it. Much later, the session will be too short because Cthulhu and/or CJ will fall asleep by 05-06 GMT. With this player roster, we just can't have a game any other time.

I have until Monday.

Let's say Friday.

Unless several people can't make that, that is the official 24-hour warning.  It's more than 24 hours, but oh well.

You live in crazy-backwards-land, don't you?

Usual time has been around midnight GMT-0, which is midday where you live.

Tell, me, great future Neruz man (Not Cthulhu. He's in my present.) will cars ever fly? And will I ever get to murder Halle Barry? And will there be a Hangover 2? And will Shaquille O'Neal's acting career ever be redeemed?

All four of those will be no.

Cars won't fly because people can barely drive on the ground.  Imagine if someone's car stalled five lanes above you in a traffic jam.  GG, try again next time.

Halle Barry is a terminator, you couldn't take her on.

Why would you want one?

Shaquille O'Neal is an excellent actor.

Flying cars were built ages ago, but they turned out to be impractical as the vast majority of idiots on the road are not even remotely close to qualifying for a pilot's liscence, so the concept was dropped.

I can't answer the other questions, i don't live that far in the future.

Actually, cars will fly. At some point, some of the cars will, but wheeled cars are unlikely to be extinct anywhere in the future. Flying cars will appear when there's infrastructure for them. And just to piss everybody off (and partly to maintain order and justice during free time), the first flying cars will be given to the police.

An unrelated note: I had my first hour of normal play of GTA IV today. (trying to play on my laptop doesn't count, it was horrible) Tried to pass the first bridge's roadblock by catapulting through the windshield over the barricade. It worked, was down to 60% health, stole a police cruiser. Turned out there's a second barricade on the other end. With a SWAT truck. And a double-height block. The truck wouldn't be nearly as bad if I didn't plant Niko face first into concrete.

A related note: Found out there's another virtual tabletop called Fantasy Grounds. Looks good, except it has a serious flaw that cannot be solved in public. A shame, really.
