In the traditional sense of the word?  No, he's been dissolved in magma.

>> Go to cabinet.

I say we boost mental efficiency, that way we can play funky games on humans!

Aaaand now come I with biology knowledge and break the game:
> EFICENCY is alredy close to max in mice, as in all living cretures, however, you can masively boost metabolic RATE, burning fat tissue and masively shortening what the mouses lifespan would have been but improving basicaly evrything in the short term. This shuld also be a very quick change, just adjusting a single variable. The most notable efect is likely on subjective time, both in reaction speed and thought speed and the strength required to do things fast.
> change fur to a better camouflage colour, for example that of the floor, as well as growing some cushioning silencing fur under the feet. These adaptations should make you highly stealthy.
> Check what genetic material we got from the food. (mouse food IS made from plants after all)
> check if there are any miccrorganisms in the cage or on the mouse that we can get genetic materail on. Unles they have sterelised evrything we shuld get at least a few hundred species.

After a little genetic tinkering, you manage to increase the host's metabolic rate. You may now take any organic material and break it down into BMUs. You leap out of the cage and land unharmed on the floor. Immediately, you notice an eight legged creature under one of the cabinets, as well as some large, brown creatures with antennae. Immedately, you chase them down and chow down, but sustain a bite from the eight legged creature. You look at the cabinets and realize that the wood is thin. You do a quick bacterial sweep and find two useful bacteria.

New DNA: Spider, Cockroach, E. Coli, Staphylococcus
New mutation: metabolic efficiency (lvl 1)
10/10 BMUs.

What next?

But wait: Think about this. Fangs are much more discreet than venom sacs, and in our current stage that makes all the difference. I know -I-'d be worried if there was a mouse running around with sacs growing from its body.

Well, still. It just seems too much of a physical change to risk.

Umm, are you discussing if we should have the fangs XOR the sacks/glands? Instead of, you know, having fangs that are fed poison from the sacks/glands?
