Well, I picked the most violent childhood I could, then used the gang members and the founder to beat up a load of people to get martial arts skill up.  When I got enough money (robbing corpses is surprisingly good) I bought some AK47s and started shooting people up (my leader already had one).  I recruited a few people to make money, but quickly realised that the most profitable thing I could get them to do was "repair clothing" (there's currently a steady stream of smashed up and bloodied Death Squad Officer uniforms and a wide variety of other clothing).  You can easily cover the costs of ammo by selling all the weapons and clothes you get (once cleaned and repaired by your little brainwashed army at home).

To get the CCS, I used the guy with high-ish seduction to get the required CCS kidnappee (interesting, didn't realise Mercenaries and Crackheads could be CCS members (although the fact that the crackhead had 21 wisdom was a bit of a giveaway).  Then the actual CCS bases... were kindof easy.  All my squad members already had army body gear and high rifle skill (the founder had 20) and could sometimes eliminate up to 4 people in one turn.

So... yeah.  Now the CCS is broken I guess I just need to keep shooting stuff till I win.

Actually, there seems to be a glitch where death squads don't spawn in the Gentlemen's Club.  Yeah, I'm probably the only player disappointed rather than relieved at this :P.

Oh, and for reference, this is what a town brought to its knees by terrorists looks like.

My first round of elections went well, although Free Speech was defeated for some reason.  Hmm, which building can you attack to improve the Free Speech issue?

Uh, I have a problem.  I want to fight off a raid, but noone's bothered to raid me for months.  Even when I published that special issue about the CIA.  How can I provoke someone into an attack?

Can't help you there. I'm still trying to avoid a raid at all costs.

Still accumulating heat like crazy. Tired of running around, I attacked the CCS safehouse again, killing everyone I saw and visiting all the abandoned tables. Then the area evacuated, and I was hoping for the CCS to show up(sort of how gangs show up in crackhouses) but instead it was the SWAT. So I ran away. Downtown now lists the bar & grill as (Enemy Safehouse)(Closed Down). What do I have to do to capture it?

Also, is there any way at all to get rid of this heat? It's driving me insane. I would even be willing to turn myself in at this point, because I have sleeped judges and can hire that ace attourney guy... or maybe defend myself, 12 law is pretty good.

You can give up by going to the police station and talking to them and surrendering, once the alarm has been raised.

Oh, and my first aid expert now has no tongue.  Haven't managed to get anyone's face blown off yet, though.

And my liberals are getting surprisingly good at clubbing.  A janitor tried to punch one, got countered, and had his spine shattered by an AK47 hit.

They can't raid you if their sight is closed down.  Let them reopen the sight and I'll be you'll get a raid within a week because everyone must be really pissed by now.

And you closed down the two Conservative media stations too, which might also affect free speech, at least indirectly through the power of media.

Ah.

What other issues would indiscriminately killing everyone negatively affect?  I know the Police Accountability issue is hurt by attacking the police station, but are there others?

It might just be police accountability. You definitely get the better end of the deal when you shut down the AM Radio and Cable News stations; they're your primary political threat when the CCS isn't present.

Huh. So I just tried turning myself in.

I didn't like the outcome.

I could only afford the Ace Attourney on one of them(I didn't realize each person was charged individually), they got off free.
One accepted a sleeper lawyer's help - 10 consecutive life sentences.
Another got off when defending self, because one of the jurors was a childhood friend. I guess 55 counts of murder didn't come between them at all.
One was sentenced to death.
My main guy got 5 consecutive life sentences.

All this after being unable to do anything for two months, watching as the CCS pillaged and burned everything to the ground. Soo...

1) Any other way to get rid of the heat? Or will I have ot jump from safehouse to safehouse for all eternity?
2) How do I get rid of the CCS hideout? I've closed it down twice already...

You could try liberalising prison laws and then trying it again.  That might help.

Or you could train em all up in law.  If it's high enough, it's better than Phoenix Left any day.

Hmm, I like the way the Angry Mob carchases tend to abruptly end when all the NPC cars fail the first obstacle.

You could just raise goobles and goobles of money and then pay for them all to get the $5000 representation. It's not a complete guarantee, but it's a decent shot.

Also, worst case, you can just break people out of prison.

You can try putting your folks on community service for awhile to reduce the amount of heat they radiate. Reducing their heart with community service is a slow process, but I think it's the only way short of going to court.

To shut down the CCS, stay there in the safe house until you get a message screen informing you that you've wiped them out. If you run away, you'll have to go back. I should really make the massive conservative response be the CCS instead of the police.
