edit: I just removed the email address/url this time, so that Capn's response would still make sense.  Does WoW really have something called hornor points?  That's pretty risque.  You won't find those in the dev notes.

This has been suggested before, and is also in the dev notes.

What? He - probably a spam bot - is posting ads for a World of Warcraft power-leveling service(which iirc is also against WoW's terms of service, or something like that - dunno, I don't play).

I think he knew that, but yes. Sadly this wont get an awesome Toady edit because it's in the suggestion forum. Only things in the various nonesense forum gets edited, as far as I know.

Yeah, I mostly delete them out of other forums, unless there are some replies worth keeping.  I don't know if these are bots or not.  This one had an accurate location field and was also able to answer the word problem to register (unless there's a way around that).  There might have been a human at some point.  These WoW spammers in particular have all been from the same province in China, intermittently registering and posting over the last year.  I've just been doing IP bans and hoping it doesn't get too bad.

I just realized that every skill this guy lists is in DF; except riding.   But now that enemies have steeds, we may see a riding skill.   Hoorah!

Spammers; will they ever learn? *peeks into the raws and notes lack of [CAN_LEARN]*

Toady, I have a suggestion. You gave [CREATURE:SPAMMER] the [EVIL] token, but you also gave them [CAN_SPEAK]; could you remove that last one?   :D

Nah, the gold farmers actually have a pretty sweet job.  They get to play videogames all day and get paid for it.

It's the managers and the guys who spam who are the annoying ones.

Isn't there a security number question with jagged letters when registering on these forums? I don't think pattern recognition can handle that so this probably isn't a bot, at least not 100%
