CRAP I'm not gonna make the deadline for the turn... can we push it back a few hours? That's 5pm local time and I'm not gonna be able to get to my computer until 8 at the absolute earliest... 11 would be safer though (6 hours later than the current deadline). Sorry about this, I didn't notice the turn show up until I got the reminder email this morning.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Caelum, please get your turn in.  I postponed hosting--hopefully I did it in time.

I'm glad I remembered to check.  I looked in the morning and not again til 10 minutes before the deadline.

Yeah I was hoping you'd be watching this thread when I realized it earlier and posted. I guess not, but I got lucky.

EDIT: Huh, so that's weird. The turn's in now, but I KNOW I played through that turn as soon as I got it over the weekend and I could have sworn I emailed it when I finished. I guess not because I can't for the life of me find that email. Anyway, thanks again for waiting.

Perhaps we should set C'tis on AI?

I was just going to ask that.  Has anyone seen him in any other threads?

The forum says he was active a little over an hour ago. Does someone want to PM him? He may just want to go AI because he sounded a little hopeless a couple pages ago... which would be a shame because I'm being walked through by a used-to-be almost-ally coming to help.

I PMed him just a bit ago but haven't heard anything yet.  I will postpone hosting for another 12 hours, and then set him AI if he hasn't contacted anyone.

OK, I have unexpected evening plans, so the turn will host at midnight with C'tis as AI if he hasn't played his turn by then.

Yeah... lucky you. All I've gotta say is that it's unfortunate how much the groups of crappy random event units affect your status on the army charts.

No shit. So, you're saying that half of your army is human militia?

Well... not human militia, but about 2/3 of what I've got left is the crappy crappy completely useless bottom tier Caelum troops. I just didn't really have anything to throw them at to get rid of them. Also I probably shouldn't have told you that, but meh most of my stuff flies so it can be wherever I want it to be.
