I believe E. Albright contacted Militarist about replacing him.  The current turn should process, but further hosting will be delayed until Militarist indicates whether he will take over.

Haven't heard back from him, no. I can finish out the currently-pending turn (18), but that needs to be it for me. Alas. It's been tense and interesting for the little time that's elapsed so far. Thanks for letting me join, and sorry once more for needing to quit.

Ah, crap..

Sorry guys, I can't play.  The most recent patch, 3.23b, refuses to run on my system.  Or rather, it will run but freezes/crashes/dies any time I try to issue any orders or generate a turn.

Sorry again, and hopefully I'll get a chance to play when the next patch comes out (if that ever happens).

Is that for any games, or just for this one?  If just this one, then the problem is the mod.

Sadly, it's the patch itself.  I've tried nearly everything I could think of to fix it with no luck.  And it seems I'm the only one who has an issue with it.. the latest patch that doesn't freeze for me is 3.00.

If anyone has had any similar issues under 7 x64, please chime in.  Otherwise, I'll have to bow out.

Bah!  We under the water have already been at war for some time.  (The Star People promise that we didn't assassinate our opponent, and sabotage his replacement's computer.  That absolutely was not us).

It looks like it'll be a while til the next turn.  Anyone have some friends they want to sign up?
