Okay, first of all, that is just WIFOM, since you can say this about everyone. Yes, THAT situation works. So does JanusTwoface being scum. So does Pandarsenic being scum. So does you being scum. That's the point of the game. The point is that everyone COULD be scum, and that's why we find them.

Second of all, if I were scum, that would be a stupid situation, since it'd be easier for me to simply protect JanusTwoface and lynch Pandarsenic tomorrow. I'm actually hoping you're the scum instead of Pandarsenic, for WIFOM's sake.

Third of all, you really DO need to pay a bit more attention.

What I know is I'm town. What I also know is that JanusTwoface is a protecter. I KNOW this, because he claimed it (Rules out twin), and I morphed into him and have the exact same role. I know that you tried to kill him. I know that you were the only person to try to kill (Let's exclude the forced kills), and you did so at 4 players, which is a scummy vig claim because if you had missed, you would've lost the game for everyone, as long as the scum killed anyone else (Pandarsenic's is supposedly forced.)

The reason why I think it might be Pandarsenic is for the same reason. He chose someone to kill and they aren't dead. JanusTwoface protected me. I protected him. We both managed to live. I'm not going to doubt that JanusTwoface is town because of that. But his kills are supposedly forced. He HAS a reason to kill, even if it's one like that.

I know Pandarsenic can't win even IF his !none ability randomly roleblocks and kills. He can't kill either of us because we're both protected, and blocking the one only stops protection on the other. He can't win.

Therefore, it only makes sense that it is, obviously, GlyphGryph or Pandarsenic.

In which case, if Pandarsenic really IS scum and he can't kill either of you, then voting me out is the best move, since you can kill him next. I still don't buy it though. If I WAS mafia, why would I have even claimed vig, when the one kill that went off was already claimed by someone else?

And I (tried) to kill at four players partly because I'm an idiot, but also because I assumed there would be a lot more killing going on like in previous games and that may very well have been our last night - since we don't need surviving town to win, just dead scum, its not exactly the worst idea for all kill ability town to choose to kill on what very well may be the last night. Since Pandarsenic had a forced kill, then the game would have been over whether I had tried to kill or not (if no one had been protected).

I believe Janus is protector, you don't have to try to convince me of that.

It seems to me we'd be better off doing that - if you both protect each other, then panda can only kill me, I can only kill panda, if there's a survivor you vote them off. It seems a lot better for the town than voting me off, honestly.

Especially since I promise to try not to kill - worst case is that I am scum, and choose the same target as Panda (who should be choosing me anyway) and we kill one of you through protection - but then its still 2 vs 1 scum, and know you know for sure I'm scum.

If panda is scum... it really comes down to that. If he is, I'm fine getting voted off. But I really don't think he is. He hasn't acted like scum at all as far as I can tell. And if either of Janus or Web are scum at this point, if I'm voted off their going to NK instead of protecting, they'll BE protected, and this game will be over.

I don't want that to happen - if we no lynch, at least the odds are in our favour.

Thinking about it logistically, which I know isn't a popular town tactic but still.
The plan is thus - tonight, I try to kill Janus, Panda tries to kill Webadict, and we have the following outcomes or we get the same state as today.

Lets say I'm scum
With Web and Janus protecting each other, I can either kill Panda, Janus or fail to kill web.

If I do kill Panda, we get:
-Janus, Web, Me
-Possibilities: Gryphscum. You guys pretty much know I'm the scum, I get lynched, game over.

If I force the kill on Web:
-Panda, Me, Janus
-Posibilities: Gyphscum, or Janusscum (killed instead of protecting), Panda is townie. I will volunteer to be lynched, in the night Panda kills Janus, we win.

Lets say panda is scum
Same as above, but reversed.

Lets say web is scum
He can nightkill anyone of his choice - but if he does, Janus will die.

If he kills me/panda:
-Panda/Gryph, Web
-Possibilities:Webscum. Nolynch during the day, Panda/Gryph kills him at night.

So if we do this, we can't lose.

Okay, well, now we have to rethink that re-thought-out plan, because you have to remember that Pandarsenic supposedly has to kill or he will randomly do so, as well as block somebody. Which means No Lynching would lead to two people dead. If neither of those are scum, we lose. However, if the remaining townie can kill, it doesn't matter who's left, because it's a tie, which likely just ends with Mafia losing.

But, what if the remaining scum is Pandarsenic and he just blocks your kill? What if you have an additional ability equal to that? How on Earth are we supposed to know? Either of you could be a Redirecter, or anything.

That's why I don't think there's a way to break this system. First of all, I didn't realize Janus lost his ability. Second of all, that assumes the scum have told us the truth about their role. And third of all, it wastes a lynch we need to win.

Likely it's lylo right now, with a chance to win with abilities, UNLESS we lynch you or Pandarsenic, in which case the other can't win because I'll protect Janus, and I'll be able to revive. Ergo, we win no matter what.
