Well, Toony. Here's why I initially didn't believe your claim: I was a purple philanthropist up until the end of last night (purple, as in, whoever targets me gets roleswapped with me); the role I was swapped with was certainly not an investigative role.

If we have a redirector, then I suppose it makes more sense.

I'll also (preemptively) object to the day extension.

I just find it awfully convenient that you had an investigative role, targeted me, got a guilty result, then had your role switched around several times, as if to prevent me from being able to confirm what role you have.

So I got confirmation back from dakarian on a few things.  In answer to the original question, from Apostolic Nihilist, I know nothing about any of the deaths.  Although I don't have any real reason (yet) to target someone else, one part of me wonders if lynching Org today would work better than yesterday.  Most reviver roles are one-shot IIRC.

Nope.

This was before I thought about role redirections.  If you claim to have investigated AN and got a guilty result that would naively mean one of two things:
- You are town and AN is scum (or choose a role that shows scum which he probably would have mentioned by now)
- You are lying scum trying to frame AN (and we can lynch you tomorrow)

With possible action redirection that wouldn't have told you, then that gets a little bit fuzzier.  For that matter, if there's someone out there that redirected actions targetting AN or redirected ToonyMan, you should probably say something now so we can figure out who the actual scum is.

I was just curious.  With his response (if he's not lying of course) that means that he either has to be night killed (not necessarily a problem, even for the town) that he has more than one revival.

Also because Day Cop is a core rule and so is whatever reviver role that you had.  If I understand how dakarian is assigning roles, this is impossible unless you switched roles.

Finally, ToonyMan already scanned AN and got scum.  There's only 1 scum, so how could we both be scum?

Which makes me wonder what game Org is playing at here?  Are you a Paranoid Day Cop Reviver thing-a-ma-bob perhaps?

Bah.  This is the same problem that I had when I played on IRC with XylBot.  I just don't know enough of the roles.  It still doesn't change the fact that he's wrong.

1.  Unless a role specifically states that it involves a verbal statement, ALL actions are sent via PM.  Note that I take care of PMs before I even touch the main forums anyway. 

Sidenote: my deadlines are almost always 'soft' in that the day formally ends when I write the end day text.  If I'm late then consider it just some extra bonus time. 

2. Actions that are redirected do NOT give warning.  So yes, a cop will think they investigated the right person when they didn't.

2 Objections made.  So long as they stand no request to End Day can be made.

To note: Ending the Day can ONLY occur once over 50% of the town votes on the same person.  It is sort of a 'soft hammer'.  Of course, that's moot so long as the Objections exist.

Clause 1 saved the game for town, potentially.

Anyway, I originally was going to swap with Toony to confirm his story. Due to clause 1, I didn't end up swapping with him.

Org claimed day cop, which I found immensely fishy. So I swapped with him instead.

Org is no day cop, I assure you! He was a "Combined Human Shield BlackGuard Arsonist!"

Which means he revives upon lynch. He can't prime people, but he can guardkill people. He can also ignite people (though with the inability to prime, it's sort of useless)

Vote Org.

That's all past tense, at least. He should have my role now and is powerless.

Dakarian, if I day-ignite will you display a message in the thread, similar to IRC? I can easily confirm.
