Not if it's using FIXED_TEMP (which it is) it won't; in the case of HOMOTHERM then possibly, yes.

Besides, that'd be cheating.

Hmm... GCS webs may be able to slow it down... but they'd probably catch fire... so... GCS webs to trap him, then have some barrels of booze nearby to explode once the webs immolate. May work. Or maybe not.

It won't work. Mainly because of the [WEBIMMUNE] tag.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

There is a problem with your creature, there is an extra [EQUIPS] tag.  Thats the only problem I can see.

If your armor was 50% as good as two other civs and 30% as good as a third, do you really think you'd do well in war? That'd be like trying to engage a rocket-launcher mounted Humvee with a pistol riding a tricycle.

I've tried it in adventure mode and he is so fast that I can usually move about 5 to 9 steps before others move and when I punch people and they go flying I can move about once or twice before they hit something.  People usually don't survive the first hit and armor only saves them half the time.

Wait, what? Only 5-9 steps? they should look like statues to you! Unless I don't understand how [speed] works.

I wonder what happens if you give it negative speed . . .

BTW as I've said so many times, the speed doesn't matter, this will immolate any melee dwarves near it and it will melt any arrows that are shot at it,so dwarves can't kill it you need to kill this with a cave-in of natural rock, that is the only thing that can kill it

It was an approximation, in adventure mode the LOS makes it tough to tell when they last moved.  And they did counterstrike but none of them were able to hit me.

That may be due to [DAMBLOCK:200]

I think the DAMBLOCK is probably a bigger problem than the speed. Dwarves could still counterattack if they were skilled enough, and it moves so fast the dwarves wouldn't even have time to heat up. They just can't hit it, I don't think anything less than an adamantine artifact weapon could get through it's defense, if that.

HAH HAH HAH! surely you jest! The weapon would simply melt before any damage was inflicted!
as I said, the only 3 ways to kill this are as follows:

1.Drop natural rock on it via cave-in
2.Incase it in solid ice (I suggest maybe a glacier map, suprised no-one figured that out :p )
3.Incase it in solid obsidian

How would you encase it in ice? No water can get near it.
Also, can weapons melt without magma?

Actually, when I fought this with my orc fort, they succeeded in gouging out an eye and dealing a series of light brown and grey wounds all over it. If I had actually organized/trained them and given them weapons, and perhaps had more than 120, they might have actually stood a chance.

A crack team of highly skilled, heavily equipped elves may stand the best chance, as they're fairly quick, but not quick enough to compare. The Avatar may not be little more than a blurr of read and death if an Elf is at superelvenly agile, though
