Oh if people want more Asimov... his book "I, Robot" is actually a collection of short stories. It's very good. Bears no resemblance to the horrible Will Smith movie.

Whaaaa? The movie was a fun ride, if not related in any real way to Asimov. It was fun.

I can understand how reading what it's extremely loosely based off could ruin that, though. Watchmen ruined the movie for me.

They found a way to incorperate details of most/all of the stories of the I, Robot book into the movie, but I liked the book better. The movie wasn't terrible either.

Also: The foundation series.

I'd also give The Bicentennial Man (and other stories) a high recommendation. Bears little resemblance to the mediocre Robin Williams movie.

Somewhere around here I have "The Complete Robot," a collection of most every robot story written by Asimov up 'till the publishing date. It's gonna be veeeeery interesting watching those stories come to life in the next 50-100 years.

Yes I plan on living at least 100 years, what of it?

Urgh, transhumanism.  I plan on living however many years and then dying.  Not only do I not believe that we will ever find immortality, I think it's a horrible idea, one of the reasons entailed in the story.  If nobody dies, we're going to run out of space very quickly.

I dunno... I don't wanna be 100. Hell I honestly don't wanna live more than like 10-20 more years from now.

Well, you have 10-20 years to change your mind about that.

YOu are forgetting to take into account that all the most likely methods of archiving immortality remove the babymaking parts.

The observable universe is 3E80 cubic meters in size. There's no "running out of space."

We will adapt. Humans are good at that.
