Howdy fellows.

Remember back when I was working on my own game (Bloody Cosmos). Well, it almost done, but I've also started my own developers website.

I like sci-fi PnP games.
I'm interested.

I read it. Looks pretty good. I applaud your inclusion of so much game world content compared to rules. Things like equipment, vehicles, cybernetics, etc. And the setting is sufficiently rich to play out the range of sci-fi tropes. Good job in general.

I'd suggest formatting it a little more carefully. 160-something pages is just too long. Just reformatting slightly could easily get you down to 100 pages.

It could use another pass by an editor for typos and rewording to make it more clear and concise. Based on what I read, I'd expect a good 5-page savings from that.

I'd also suggest putting all the rules and equipment in one short text and the setting specific stuff in another. This way the brand-new player isn't so dismayed at the size of the rulebook.

If you really took this thing to the chopping block you could probably get it down to three or four 40-page half-fold booklets. That would let you print cheaply, possibly at home, if you have a long stapler. And these days you can often find printers with color and BW ink very cheap, so blowing one out occasionally is not cause for alarm.

Thats actually what I"m planning to do with the final product, but you may want to take note that I'm NOT selling this. It is 100% free forever.

Plus, there will be editing a correction of typos. It's on my list.

Moghopper, when can I edit the site so I can add some stuff?

As for that, I was going to get working on that last night, but my service provider has been doing something to the cables for about a week now, and my internet is rather... unstable as a  result. I was trying to get you access, but my internet cut out for the entire night. I swear Aliant is just trying to piss me off.

You could retain your "free as in free beer" ideal and still print up copies to sell to people. Tell them they can go on your website and download the PDF, print it themselves, or they can buy your printed version. It's a lot easier to use at the table than on a laptop anyway.

Plus if you ever pimp it out at a convention or gaming store you'll need to have printed copies even if you give them away at cost.
