Turn 12: All my Friends Know the Land Raider
(I am so sorry for that.)
He's not getting away that easily! I head off after the whatever-it-is and find out where it's going. Naturally, I shall make liberal use of THE WARP in order to keep up with it while avoiding detection.
(2) You plan on chasing after the creature, to find where it's going, but you realize that not only would you not be able to get reinforcement, but you would leave your only companion with the Ork and the mon'kigh (where ever he went off to). However, you bet that it would most likely come back eventually, like some sort of reoccurring mid-boss. Plus you get distracted by the CHAOS LAND RAIDER THAT JUST BUSTED THROUGH A WALL!
(?) No, it a MONUMENT TO ALL PAIN AND SUFFERING, MADE OF FLESH AND BONES, THE FACES OF A THOUSAND DEAD SCREAMING IN...wait, it's just a Land Raider. Your headache returns...
I unsling my cauldron and brew an invigorating stew, Patches' severed arm disappears...
(3) You take off the cauldron that you lug around for the occasional chance to stretch your culinary skills. Taking what ingredients you have (Read: next to none). You make a nice stew...well, it's more like a soup. You're running low on starch, you need to buy some the next chance you get. you offer some of the stew/soup to the others.
(2)(5) the Tech Priest gives the meal a sour look, and politely tells you that he's already had that part of his body replaced by machinery. The Warboss, on the other hand, is more than happy to try some. He tells you it kinda tastes like squig, which makes you wounder what Patches was made out of.
I get back inside the landraider and ask it if it can drive out of there now. If not I'll remove more obstructions. If it is ready I'll tell it to go outside and prepare for war.
(
5) you move back into the Land Raider, and ask the machine spirit if it is able to clear out the rest of the way on it's own. the old engines grind, but what little that continues to stand in the way are easily bushed aside by the the Land Raider girth. The Raider busts through another wall, and you find yourself back outside, where the xenos are shooting at...something. This is the beginning of something very beautiful.
I run up and shoot the spider at point blank range.
(5) You give chase to the spider, doing some impressive parkour moves as you maneuver across building roof tops giving chase, you gun firing all the way.
(2-1)(1) but you find shooting on the move much harder than expected, shots firing off in all directions except the one you want them to.
(4) you begin to feel the gun getting warm, but you're mostly safe.
(1) Vs (3+1) despite your attempt to chase it down, it eventually disappears out of sight. you return back to the other to find the others, and HOLY MORK, A LAND RAIDER!
"I can see insidez ya now, Patches! Yoo ain't got me boyz! Where are dey?"
Yell out to call me boyz to me, and then try to find something to move around in.
(3) You give out a yell to any nearby Orks in the area, but no answer is called. You are in a odd paradox, a Warboss without his boyz. You conclude that you could find some later, and look for a ride
(2) however, aside from a slightly bent (and pink) bicycle, you find no suitable transport for yourself.
Using ranger long rifle put a shuriken in it's skull!
(1) You aim you gun after the creature, but it disappears over the roof top, along with the Ork. you finally get the chance the rest, and adrenaline a run off. that when all the pain hits you at once (4) you clutch your side in pain, but for the most part you are fine
(2) You are still bleeding, you feel light headed, and OH KHAINE IS THAT A LAND RAIDER!?
Oh, hrm, disregard my earlier post if you would be so kind. Not that continuing to fire would be completely out of character.
I scrape a notch on the Lasgun. Victory! I look for a ship to fix (asking the rest of the party if they've seen one first). Obviously, then, fix it.
(2) you scratch a notch on your lascannon (what lasgun?) signaling your kill. You feel a warm spot in you...or maybe you're just overheating. you look around for something to fix, but as shown by the Warboss, there is nothing here to fix nor fly in this area. Although the thought of the huge Ork riding the bicycle and making it fly does make you chuckle.
If Patches is still alive then finish him! If not then head off and search for some more useful things.
(3) You ready to sneak off, when you feel someone grab you from behind. you are turned around to come face to face with a plague marine. He drags you off, taking you to the others, a really big ork, and one of those gru'la mechanics. What do you do now?
