Turn 3: Shock And Awe!

Oh crap! I patch other eldar up with some cloth ripped from his clothes or something. That's what wounded people need, right? Bandages?

And stop fiddling with your gun, greenskin. Go fix the Valkyrie.
(4) Seeing that the only other intelligent being here is bleeding out, you quickly climb the Valkyrie with all of your grace to save him. Taking what little you know about first-aid, you carefully remove "other eldar" from the metal spike, remove the torso armor, then ripping apart strips of clothing to make imprompt bandages. You manage to stop the bleeding, but cannot think of any other way you could help. You are then given the verbal abuse of a lifetime by the Mek over you trying to touch his things, but by the time you get a word in about fixing the airship, he had already moved back to his own obsession. (+1 medic)

Yell at the eldar for trying to touch my tools, then add an attachment to my shoota to stabilize it. (an arm harness or a way to brace it against the ground, something to keep it steady.)
(6+1)After giving the Eldar a stern talking to about respecting the property of others, you go back to your shoota. Since you've always been focused on moar dakka, you've never figured out how to make it shoot straight. After some brain storming, you grab a piece of pipe and weld it to the bottom on your gun, allowing you reduce the recoil somewhat. However, it only reduces the kickback a little, and requires both hands (so no power klaw until you find a better solution). You also take the time to properly bolt the engine to the gun, and put a cover over it. (+1 mechanic) (Kustom Shoota upgrade: Grip)

Still sneaking search the ruins for evidence of what has happened here.
(5) You move like a shadow through the remains of the city, you would be unseen if there were anyone here to look for you. Your search through the ruins is mundane: wreaked vehicles, destroyed building, several craters lining the road. However, you find something odd. A strange burn across one of the buildings, a pattern you know that could not be made by either a flamer/melta, or plasma. nearby is a damanged vehicle, several holes  through it. it doesn't look like it was cause by an explosion, but rather as if the armor had simply been vaporised. You also find a perfectly good rail rifle carelessly left behind. This could come in handy... (+2 ambusher, found Rail Rifle)

Shout out the sky a bit. Check if I have any medical supplies on me and then let Alai patch me up.
(3) You curse the sky a little, but other than tiring yourself out you accomplish nothing. You appear to have no medical supplies on you, which is a shame since your cloak had to be mutilated in order to make bandages, and you're pretty sure you're going to get an infection from them.

I shall climb into the cockpit of the valkyrie and fly it to where the fight is going on, if it does not start I shall yell angrily and smack the dashboard in an attempt to fix it.
(3) You run back to the Valkyrie, desperate to get back to the fight. Ignoring the others, you enter the cockpit and search for a way to turn it on. That's not too hard, as you spot a button off to the side that reads "on". You press it, and the machine spirit lets out a groan in response, refusing to fly until properly repaired. You do not agree with it's opinion, and decide to "persuade" it by putting your fist into the console (1) Your attempts go just as one would expect, and you punch through it. In return you have a few hundred volts of electricity put through you. (4) you are partly fazed, and you think you might have some burns on your hand, but you fared much better than most would have.

You really want to fly in a vehicle repaired by an ork? their "spaceships" are meteors with rockets strapped to them! An eldar probably wouldn't survive the landing, heck probably no one but an ork could(armor doesn't help in a crash landing at that speed, orks don't need it).

I'll look around for some other surviving boyz, I ain't much or an ork without a proper waaaagh! now am I?

Warp over to the greenskin and try to steal his tools again, then patch up the engine.

Also, once safely out of reach, make an insulting comment about orkish intelligence and tell him that this isn't a meteor with a rocket strapped to it, it's a perfectly safe, if poorly designed and constructed, human airship.

yes, but no ork would know the first thing about fixing it, their technology doesn't even obey the laws of physics! After I got done with it if would probably fly exactly the same as an orkish ship.

I try to contact someone by radio to arrange a transport for myself to the combat zone, or at the very least get a report on what the people fifty miles away are fighting.

Turn 4: Left 40,000 Dead

I'll look around for some other surviving boyz, I ain't much or an ork without a proper waaaagh! now am I?
(1) You tell the Eldar off, tired of his antics and his attitude. You figure you'd rather be in the company of loose face-biting squigs that spend anymore time with the pansies. You turn to leave to find more boyz, when you spot a mob of them of in the distance. What luck. You wave them over, then notice something odd. You squint to get a better look, and see that there are not regular Orks. For one, their faces seem to have turn into massive maws, with enough teeth to rival the Osmond family, and their hands had been replace with massive claws. And they're running at you!

(5) You warp behind the Ork, snatch his tools, then warp back to the top of the Valkyrie without any problems. You're pretty sure the Ork didn't even noticed your show of skills, as he seem distracted by something. (1) The tools break in your hands, simply lumps of metal to a non-Ork. You planned on taking a shot at the Ork's intelligence and at human ingenuity, but figure going low profile would be best at the moment. (+2 warp jumper)

I try to contact someone by radio to arrange a transport for myself to the combat zone, or at the very least get a report on what the people fifty miles away are fighting.
(4-1) You surf through the vox frequencies again, turning up nothing. You try to coax the Valkyrie's radio to work, but it seems that the machine spirit is still pissed at you, as the radio made a sound like someone blowing a raspberry, then died on you. You are curious as to what is happening, when you look outside the cockpit to see the same mass of mutants Gobfang saw. They look like the bastard child of a really ugly Ork and a walking meat grinder. You're unsure what's happening elsewhere, but you have a feeling that you're going to experience it first-hand.

Head out of the city again looking for anything useful along the way.
(1) After some scanning, you think you may have found the way out of the city. Left, right, right, straight, left, left, left, straight straight , right...wait a minute...you're back at the Valkyrie! You begin to fell as if some jerk deity is trying to keep you together. Worse, you think something may have followed you back...

Thank Alai, then sit on my arse in till the dice gods like me more.
(4) After thanking Alai for his help, you lay back and hope for Isha (and lady luck) to look favorably upon you. You already begin to feel better. From your vantage point, you spot monsters in the distance, coming for the group. You grab your rifle, and aim down range. You may be wounded, but you're not going down without a fight.

Quote from: Ork? monster hoard
Food!
(2+2+5) (2)The monsters make poor distance, still warming up and with debris littered all over the street slowing them down.

Commandeer the Valkyrie's heavy bolter, patching it up if necessary, and mow down those things. Whatever they are.
