Man, I am starting this off right.

Alright, pick a direction one of my Horrors ran off in and start marching. I probably won't find it, but there's a good chance I'll find something.

Get a terrible feeling of unease, as though that hypothetical Eldar might not have had the situation in hand after all. But then realize he would have been saved by a deus ex machina, so that's alright.

So I have a hole! Excellent. Now gather supplies. Food, waepons, ammunition, and digging and building supplies. After that, expand my cubby house, preferably into some sort of underground burrow surrounded by a trench system bristling with turrets and with intermittent concrete (rockcrete?) bunkers.

 >:(

Yeah!  Everyone knows that the God-Emperor is firmly planted *within* the machine.  Unless you're referring to the machine *spirits*, which aren't deii.

Nah, 'deus ex machina' refers to the Emperor coming out of the Throne to help someone out of a tricky situation.

And what? It was a deus ex machina. That's not necessarily a bad thing, and taking into account that die roll and his situation, it probably wasn't going to be anything else.

I charge headlong at the forces of chaos and attack them with every weapon in my arsenal. 'Tactics' and 'intelligence' are unbecoming of a proper space marine, faith in the Emprah is all you need.

Faith in the emprah and a bolter. Also powered armor. And genetic manipulation.

It seems you need quite a bit actually.

Faith in the Emperor is all you need. The gun is just for extra reassurance.

No, faith in the emperor is all you need. The gun is just to help carry out his will.

It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

I just make an action on his behalf. But if he doesn't post for next turn, then he gets knocked off. As for who's next, I guess you are, since I haven't seen Rolon7 or Akhier in a while.

I'm watching, but I'm not eager to have a turn right now.  Elemental RtD and work are enough (:

I would like to join the list of the waiting:

Name: Gelenaga Druch
Gender: Male
Faction: Dark Eldar
Starting skills: Rifle usage, Melee weapon usage, torture aptitude.
Starting equipment: Standard-issue Dark Eldar Warrior armor (no helmet), Splinter rifle(with detachable monomolecular blade/knife)
Background:
After challenging his Sybarite while on a scouting mission (and failing miserably), he was left behind, with no direct way to return to Commorragh. Marooned on Cyrus Prime with only his combat gear, he is sure to starve, be killed by one of the many hostile forces on the planet, or slowly get his soul devoured by She Who Thirsts.

If anything is only in space wolf codex, i will include the rules for them in normal 40K

Name: Raegus Ironnail
Gender: Male
Faction: Space Wolves(Unique Space Marine Faction)
Starting Skills: Psyker, Close Combat, Brawling(fist fighting)
Starting Equipment:Runic Armour without Helmet(2+ armour and 5+ invo against psychic and perils of the warp), Runic Axe (Force weapon that can null psychic powers adn auto wounds daemons), Bolt pistol, Jump pack, frag grenades and meltabombs

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

That 'don't hate xenos' bit would be so much more convincing if you had sprouted tentacles. But I suppose that if you have armour that makes you immune to the warp then you don't need faith...

I can't let you start with runic armor and a runic axe. you have to start with basic equipment
